Reid is from Harvey, LA and went to Brother Martin High School. He played men's NAIA soccer at LSU Shreveport for his first 2 years college. His junior year, Reid transferred to Baton Rouge and graduated from LSU with a Sports Administration Degree. He started with LAFM as an Intern in April 2013 and was hired in October. Reid loves anything to do with sports (Saints, Pelicans, and Liverpool FC Fan), the outdoors, and family/friends.

Thomas Jefferson High School

Thomas Jefferson is a magnet school located in Gretna, Louisiana. In 2014, the football program had really nice season going 6-3 and barely missed out on the district championship. Coach Kevin Kelly has done a tremendous job here with 3 winning seasons in a row. Looking forward, the Jaguars can be really excited for 2015. They have a loaded senior class with many players that have been playing since there freshman year.

The last several years Coach Rebowe has been an essential part of the Louisiana-Lafayette's success as an assistant. Guilbeau was an All-American at McNeese State in the early 1980's. Today's Recruit Video is on Captain Shreve High School. The gators started out the 2014 season strong while struggling in the 2nd half. Their 2nd half stretch was one of the hardest schedules in the entire state. I do like these guys going forward. Some one to look out for is Julian Charles. This kid can flat out play and is one of the highlights of the 2016 Louisiana class. Meet him in Today's Recruit Video.

Team Update and Visit, Walker High School

Brandon Lawley has been named the new Head Coach of Walker High School. Lawley is a coach who will bring energy and innovation back into this program. After a tough couple of seasons, he will be looking to rebuild the team over the next couple years. The good news is that the team already has 118 varsity players for next year (only 54 this past season). They are adding 50 freshman which could make this team very good down the road. Check the team out with a couple updates on there 2016 class.

The Carencro Bears had a great 2014 season going 8-3 and making the playoffs. They were led by Coach Roland Eveland and an excellent senior class. One of those seniors, DB D"ronne Littleton is one of the best athletes in the whole state. I mean you look at some of the wins (Barbe, Acadiana) and you have to be impressed.
