For today's edition of Inside the Program, we focus our attention on Avoyelles High School which is a 3A school located in Moreauville, LA. Unlike the last two programs that we covered, the Mustangs did not clinch a district championship or a state championship like Lutcher High School or St. Helena College and Career Academy, but this is a really fun team to watch especially for fans that love offenses.

St. Mary's High School in Natchitoches, Louisiana is not one of the biggest football programs in the state, but they had some great seasons in the past such as making the state championship two years ago. Since it is not one of the biggest teams and that this is a 1A football team, a lot of players have to play on both sides of the football. One of these guys that have to serve that role is OL/DL Behrend Behrendsen.

What a great weekend if you are a Louisiana High School football fan. Five games would decide who would win the state championships from 1A to 5A. Unlike last weekend with the select state championships, this weekend provided great games that came down to the last possession. Ten great teams will play with only five teams coming home with a state championship trophy.
