2A Offensive Player of the Year: QB/DB Grant Fitzhugh, Ouachita Christian

This week, we reveal our offensive players of the year from 1A-5A in the entire state on our T.V. show. These players are the best of the best at what they do and they beat out some very tough candidates to win this prestigious honor. If we had to give out 50 trophies to each of the winners, we would but there are so many that you can give out. Throughout the week, we profile the winners on our website and on our Facebook as well as our Twitter pages. At the end of the week, we will put up our honorable mentions for the great players that were also in consideration for these awards. Recruit Spotlight: DE/DT Phidarian Mathis, Neville

Neville High School has been one of the most dominating programs in Louisiana High School football for such a longtime due to great coaching and the many talented players that have gone through the program each and every year. After a dominating defensive force like Rashard Lawrence graduates, a team would have trouble trying to find a guy that can replace a big time defensive lineman like Lawrence. Recruiting Spotlight: OL Ethan Harvey, Evangel Christian Academy

National Signing Day is now over so these recruits, that we will be covering for the rest of the year, are now commits and either finishing their final months of high school or enrolling at the college of their choice early. Evangel Christian OG Ethan Harvey is now enjoying his final months at Evangel Christian, where he has had a tremendous high school football career, before he starts a new football journey at Army-West Point.

Signing Day at Woodlawn (Shreveport)!

What a day for Louisiana High School football as some of the best football players sign their letter of intent to the college of their choice. There are so many talented players in the entire state of Louisiana, and it is great that they are recognized for not only what they do on the football field, but in the classroom as well. Today, Louisiana Football Magazine covered National Signing Day for four different schools. The second school that we covered today is Woodlawn (Shreveport).
