Lane Baptiste was one of the outstanding DT in the entire state last season. Next year the Carencro Defensive Lineman will be taking his talents to East Central Community College in Mississippi. Lane is fast and athletic for a kid who weighs over 260 lbs. East Central got a steal when they signed this guy. Kyle has signed with McNeese State University and will be playing both football and track for the Cowboys. Besides being a State Champion, Kyle was First Team All-State and First Team All-Acadiana.
