Lane Batiste, Carencro Football. East Central Football

Lane Baptiste was one of the outstanding DT in the entire state last season. Next year the Carencro Defensive Lineman will be taking his talents to East Central Community College in Mississippi. Lane is fast and athletic for a kid who weighs over 260 lbs. East Central got a steal when they signed this guy. In the interview, Lane talks about choosing the Mississippi college and how he thinks Carencro's football team will fair next year.

De'Vante Davis is one of the top Athlete recruits in the state. De'vante played his high school career at Kaplan High and will be taking his talents to Grambling State next year. The 6'3 senior was an All-District and All-Parish QB this past year. Grambling wants De'Vante to become a big target for them and play WR. Kyle Zenon is an outstanding Offensive Lineman out of Vermilion Catholic High School. District opponents will be glad to see him leave after playing against him for the last 4 years. Kyle has signed with McNeese State University and will be playing both football and track for the Cowboys. Besides being a State Champion, Kyle was First Team All-State and First Team All-Acadiana.

Toby Willis is a new Graduate Assistant at McNeese State. Toby played High School ball at Plaquemines High School. Although he broke his leg his senior year, Toby was still able to walk on to McNeese football team. Since graduating college, Toby has worked for Northwestern State, Redemptorist High School, Plaquemines High School, and Delta State. Now back at his Alma Mater, Toby is coaching the Cowboy TEs and learning under Head Coach Viator's Staff.

David took over the reigns from Red in 2002 and has built quite a remarkable resume himself winning a championship in 2009 and 2013.
