Harlan Dixon is a three star senior running back at Slidell High School in Slidell, LA. Last season, Slidell won its first district championship since 2003. Dixon’s efforts helped with his 1,682 rushing yards, 217 carries and 15 touchdowns. Along with that, he caught 41 passes, 819 yards, and eight additional touchdowns. Dixon’s outstanding efforts and dedication last year has granted him one of the top performances St. Tammany Parish has witnessed.

Dixon is a hard commit to Louisiana Tech denying offers from Nicholls State and Tulane, and is ready to take on the challenges of college football. He has mentioned he is prepared to play in any position the coach places him at LA Tech whether it be running back, wide receiver, or anything else.

In Dixon’s most recent game he completed a 33 yard touchdown against Harrison Central (MS). Dixon has been complimented on his elusiveness and quickness ability, which is a great fit for the Bulldogs. Dixon understands the meaning of hard work and determination and plans on leading his team to higher goals.

Slidell holds a record of 3-1 and is hoping to maintain their winning record by taking it a step further. Dixon is on the road to carrying his team to a state championship, which is one the school hasn’t been a part of since 1986. In order to complete for the championship, Dixon focuses on working under the pressure and the spotlight that his been on the team. The community of Slidell has high hopes for the team and is ready to go be along with them throughout their journey.
