LAFM: Name, position, school?

My name is Kaleb McClain, and I play NT, DE, DL, and LT for Logansport High School.

LAFM: Current weight and height?

270 lbs, 6-3

LAFM: Current ACT score and GPA?

18    GPA 3.7

LAFM: Max Bench Press, Max cleans, Max Squat?

MY max bench is 315 and max power clean is 225.

LAFM: How is the season going for you and your team?

It is going a little rough. We are working hard to get to our highest level, but we are doing alright.

LAFM: What has been your best game so far this season?

I would say Week 4 against Plain Dealing. I made 1 sack and several tackles.

LAFM: Who is your favorite football player of all time?

J. J. Watt- He has so much strength, athleticism, and intensity which he brings to every game.

LAFM: How old were you when you started playing and where?

I was about 11-12, it was just for a little league in Logansport.

LAFM: Do you have any family members or friends that have had a big influence on you as you play football?

My cousin, Anthony McClain,  is the coach at Southwood  High School, and he is always encouraging me.

LAFM: If football does not work out for you, what do you see yourself doing? Have you thought of a major in college?

I will probably go into petroleum engineering.  I have family in the field, and it is a good job financially.

LAFM: Are there any schools that are recruiting you? Do you have any favorites? Or have thought of any places?

I have thought about going to Louisiana Tech. I have been on campus a few times and really liked the atmosphere. It is also where my brother went to college.

LAFM: What positions are you  being recruited for? What is your favorite positions and why?

I would have to say NT/DT is my favorite position. I am more of an up field run blocker on offense. On defense, I am better at bull rushing than containing.

LAFM: what makes your school special?

It is a small school where you get connected with other athletes and students. You get to know your teachers and coaches. I also enjoy having the chance to play other athletics, and it is just a great overall environment.
