LAFM: Name, Position, Team?

My Name is Leroy Hardwell and I am a DT for Winnfield High School.

LAFM:  How is the season going so far for you and your team?

We are doing well right now with a good record. The team has come along well throughout the season.

LAFM: What has been your personal best game so far?

The first game against Many.  I am not sure on my stats for that particular game, but I have about 61 tackles 2 sacks, 14 tackles for a loss, and 2 fumbles for the season through week 6.

LAFM: Which Game are you looking forward to?

I try not to look far ahead everyone is good competition.




I have a 2.7 GPA, and am not sure on my ACT.

LAFM: Current height and weight?

6-2,  265 lbs

LAFM: 40-yard dash time? Max bench, clean, and squat?

I run a 4.9 40 yard dash. My max bench is 350, and my max squat is 550.

LAFM: Who is your favorite football player of all time?

Ray Lewis-He is a great motivator and always knows what to say.

LAFM: Who is your favorite football player playing right now?

Michael Patterson is a freshman at LSU and is a big inspiration to me. He played at Winnfield and graduated last year.

LAFM: If football doesn’t work out, what do you see yourself doing? Have you thought of a major?

I want to go into Business, I like sales and working in a business environment.

LAFM: What positions are you being recruited for? Which is your favorite position, why?

I am being recruited for defensive tackle. It is my favorite position to play, and I like hitting every play.

LAFM: What schools are recruiting you? Are you planning making any visits?

I have gotten letters from many different schools such as LSU, Alabama, and Tulane. I already went to LSU and had a great time.

About Reid Althage

Reid is from Harvey, LA and went to Brother Martin High School. He played men's NAIA soccer at LSU Shreveport for his first 2 years college. His junior year, Reid transferred to Baton Rouge and graduated from LSU with a Sports Administration Degree. He started with LAFM as an Intern in April 2013 and was hired in October. Reid loves anything to do with sports (Saints, Pelicans, and Liverpool FC Fan), the outdoors, and family/friends.
