LAFM: Name, position, school?

My name is Anthony Allison, and I am a FB/LB for Oakdale High School.

LAFM: Current weight and height?

6-0,  240 lbs

LAFM: Current ACT score and GPA?

19 ACT   2.9 GPA

LAFM: 40 yard dash, max bench, max squat, max clean?

I run a 4.9 40-yard dash. My max  bench is 235, squat 500, and clean 245.

LAFM: How did the season go for you and the team?

I was happy with our season. We play in one of the toughest districts in Louisiana. Although we may not have won as many games as we wanted, we came together and played as a team.

LAFM: What has been your best game this season?

I would have to say my best game was against either Avoyelles High School or Pickering High School. Against Avoyelles I had about 14 tackles, and it was our first win of the season. Against Pickering I had 13 solo stops. They had just knocked off the number 1 team in the state, Many High School. They thought they were going to just walk in and beat us. We showed them otherwise.

LAFM: Who is your favorite football player of all time?

I would have to say Deion Sanders. I like Dion’s swag and the way he played the game.

LAFM: How old were you when you started playing and where?

I started playing flag football in 2nd or 3rd grade.

LAFM: Do you have any family members or friends that have had a big influence on you as you play football?

My grandpa and my head coach are both influential. Growing up, my grandpa was my father figure. He raised me, showed me how to be a man, and taught me the values of life. My coach, Randall Gordon, joined this team with great expectations. He has helped me become the leader I am today.

LAFM: If football does not work out for you, what do you see yourself doing? Have you thought of a major in college?

I want to major in sports medicine. I love sports and if football does not work out, I want to stay around any way possible.

LAFM: Are there any schools that are recruiting you?

Yes, I have been talking to Louisiana College.

LAFM: What positions are you being recruited for? What is your favorite positions and why?

I am being recruited as a LB. it is my favorite position because I like to make hits.

LAFM: What was something special about your team this year?

No one expected us to be able to run for 358 yards against George Washington Carver in the first round of the playoffs this year. I blocked for most of those yards, and was extremely proud of our team’s effort.

LAFM: Outside of football, what makes your school or town special?

I love this town and school. It is just a great country town.
