LAFM: How is the season going for you and your team?
It has been a great season. We have a really strong team. Our defense is organized and always in the right position at the right time. We have excellent blocking up front which allows us to run the ball really well.
LAFM: What has been your best game so far this season?
I have had 3 really good games. Against Homer, I started at LB and had about 9 tackles. When we played Green Oaks I caught the winning TD. Against South Plaquemines, I had 2 forced fumbles, 18 tackles, 2 fumble recoveries and 1 sack.
LAFM: Who is your favorite football player of all time?
Larry Fitzgerald-He is an athlete who is strong and has a great ability to go get the ball. His team looks for him to come through in hard times, and he usually does.
LAFM: How old were you when you started playing and where?
I started playing in 7th grade at Red River Junior High School.
LAFM: Do you have any family members or friends that have had a big influence on you as you play football?
Well my brother was our star RB last year. He is at ULM now.
LAFM: If football does not work out for you, what do you see yourself doing? Have you thought of a major in college?
I plan on majoring in mechanical or robotic engineering.
LAFM: Are there any schools that are recruiting you? Do you have any favorites?
None as of now. I plan on going to Louisiana Tech or McNeese State.
LAFM: What is your favorite positions and why?
My favorite position would have to be free safety. A FS has to be more physical and play all out every play.
LAFM: What was something special about your team this year?
We are with each other 24-7. Even the younger guys and older guys hang out. As a senior, we make sure our younger teammate can learn from us. We are a tight a group.
LAFM: Outside of football, what makes your school special?
The teachers definitely are special. They help us with everything. They stay over time when we need them. Some will even talk to you over the phone.
