LAFM: Name, position, school?

My name is Eddie Miles. I am a MLB for Rayville High School.

 

LAFM: Current weight and height?

6-0, 210 lbs

 

LAFM: Current ACT score and GPA?

3.4 GPA

 

LAFM:  Max bench, max clean, max squat?

My max bench is 230, clean 225, and squat is 335.

 

LAFM: How is the season going for you and your team?

The season went well. We went through some adversity throughout the year, but got through it. Now we are in the playoffs.

 

 

 

LAFM: What has been your favorite or best game so far this season?

I cannot say any particular one, so I will just say all of them.

 

LAFM: Who is your favorite football player of all time?

Ray Lewis-He hits hard, reads the game extremely well,  and does his job.

 

LAFM: How old were you when you started playing and where?

I was in the 6th grade at Rayville Junior High School.

 

LAFM: Do you have any family members or friends that have had a big influence on you as you play football?

Well my coach (Head Coach Lent Bursey) has had a big influence on me. Coach has taught me a lot, and is just a really good coach.

 

 

LAFM: If football does not work out for you, what do you see yourself doing? Have you thought of a major in college?

Chemical engineering-I like working on things and making repairs.

 

LAFM: Are there any schools that are recruiting you? Do you have any favorites?

None as of now, but I have gone to look at LA Tech as a possible school I may go to.

 

LAFM: What is your favorite positions and why?

LB is my favorite position. I am good at reading the gap, and the position comes naturally to me.

 

LAFM: What makes your team a special team?

We have a huge DL, and I think we have the best defense in 3A.

 

LAFM: Outside of football, what makes your school special?

Outside of football, are teachers do a great job at the school. They are always willing to give a helping hand.

About Reid Althage

Reid is from Harvey, LA and went to Brother Martin High School. He played men's NAIA soccer at LSU Shreveport for his first 2 years college. His junior year, Reid transferred to Baton Rouge and graduated from LSU with a Sports Administration Degree. He started with LAFM as an Intern in April 2013 and was hired in October. Reid loves anything to do with sports (Saints, Pelicans, and Liverpool FC Fan), the outdoors, and family/friends.
