LAFM: For starters, what’s your current height, weight, and forty time?

LP: I’m 6’2”, 225 pounds, I run a 4.7 forty.

LAFM: Are you originally from Louisiana?

LP: Yes sir, Covington, Louisiana.

LAFM: Which teams did you root for growing up?

LP: I’ve been an LSU fan for quite a while now, being that I’m from Louisiana it’s not really tough to be an LSU fan.

LAFM: When did you first start playing football?

LP: I started when I was 10.

LAFM: Has it always been a big part of your family? Have you had any family members that have played football in the past?

LP: Yes, I had an uncle that played at the same school I attend now and I had a cousin that played for another school in district so it’s been kind of big.

LAFM: Do you play any other sports?

LP: No, I don’t play any other sports. I’m just sticking with football.

LAFM: Do you play any other positions besides linebacker?

LP: I play tight end.

LAFM: Is there anyone in college or the Pros that you look up to or try to model your game after?

LP: I try to be like Ray Lewis and Clay Matthews because Ray Lewis has always been good and loves the game of football and Clay Matthews is relentless and he never stops.

LAFM: What do you think is your biggest strength as a player?

LP: My size and being able to get people off me and use my strength against them.

LAFM: What part of your game are you trying to improve upon most?

LP: Be more of a playmaker, cause more turnovers and just better myself in jarring the ball loose.

LAFM: Have you been to any camps at this point? If so, which ones?

LP: I attended the ULM camp and the Ole Miss camp.

LAFM: Have you heard from any coaches or received any offers?

LP: I talked to UL, La Tech, ULM, Nicholls, Southern, Northwestern

LAFM: Which schools stick out right now at the top of your list?

LP: I really like ULL. I went down there and I like the environment. It seems like they have fun down there but most of all they seem like they are serious about football. I also have a former teammate that plays for them and he tells me how great it is. I’m supposed to be going to visit soon, so we’ll see.

LAFM: Is playing close to home a big factor in your recruitment?

LP: I don’t want to go too far away but I’d play out of state if I had to so I would have to say no, not really.

LAFM: Have you thought about what you might want to study in college?

LP: Physical Therapy.

LAFM: What are some goals you’ve set for next season?

LP: I just want to maintain a good GPA, stay strong and healthy, and hopefully get some playing time. I just want to work hard and try to do my best and excel to my highest potential.

LAFM: What school is your favorite to play against, or which game gets you the most hyped each year?

LP: St. Paul’s, it’s a cross-town rival.

LAFM: What are some of the most memorable games or plays you’ve been a part of?

LP: I had a pick six in a game versus John Curtis. I felt good about that because they’re normally winning state championships every year and it felt good to know I made a big play versus them and had a great game versus them. Also, against Warren Easton I had a couple of pass breakups, a couple of big hits and a great amount of tackles. Overall, I try to keep my game consistent and high and play to my highest standards and keep my stats up.

LAFM: And lastly can you give us your current GPA and ACT score?

LP: My current GPA is 2.7 and my last ACT score was a 23.
