LAFM: Name, position, school?

My name is Quanta Moore, and I am a LB for Edna Karr High School.

LAFM: Current height and weight?

6-1, 225 lbs

LAFM: Current ACT score and GPA?

GPA 3.6  18 ACT

LAFM: 40-yard dash?

I run a 4.7 40-yard dash.

LAFM: How did the season go for you and the team?

I would say the season went well even though we did not finish the season how we wanted. At the end of the day, I was happy to play with my brothers and blessed to play on a team with so many talented  players.

LAFM: What has been your best game this season?

Probably the Belle Chasse game. I felt like I played a complete game as a LB. I was tackling really well and playing sound football.

LAFM: Who is your favorite football player of all time?

Patrick Willis-He is a nasty and explosive player. Willis is the captain of his defense and a great role model.

LAFM: How old were you when you started playing and where?

I started early like when I was 3 or 4 years old. It was a novice league here in Algiers.

LAFM: Do you have any family members or friends that have had a big influence on you as you play football?

Both my father and my mom have had a big influence on me. They always pushed me even when nobody had faith in me. They always pushed me and believed in me. They always knew I had the potential to become what I am today.

LAFM: If football does not work out for you, what do you see yourself doing? Have you thought of a major in college?

If I do not make it in football, then I will go with my brain and go into engineering.

LAFM: You are committed to Louisiana Tech University. Why LA Tech?

I chose LA Tech because I felt like they showed me the most love. They showed me how badly they want me. They told me that they were going to make me a better football player, but also a better man.

LAFM: What positions are you being recruited for? What is your favorite positions and why?

I am being recruited as a MLB. I like MLB because it is a position where you can do everything. I cover, tackle, rush the passer, get sacks, and direct the defense. I like being the QB of the defense and taking control.

LAFM: What assets and skills do you bring LA Tech?

You know I do not like to brag about myself. I think I would like to bring some swagger to the team. I can bring a nastiness and confidence to the Defense.

LAFM: What made this past years team with Edna Karr special?

Everything we have been through. Sometimes things did not go our way. Our team never blamed and pointed fingers at each other. We just continued to be brothers and continued being a team.
