LAFM: How is the season going thus far?
Our season is going real good so far. We are undefeated. We have beaten some real big schools this season. Our team very senior loaded, we are 1A so we don’t have a lot of people, so it is not about the quantity but the quality on my team. We just have a very experienced team. We run a spread on Offence so we are able to do a lot.
LAFM: Who were you most looking forward to play this year and why?
We are looking forward to playing our next game in the quarter finals, Southern Lab. St Freds and Sterlingdon are within 5 miles of here and they are always some real big rivals us.
LAFM: Current height and weight?
I am 6’ tall and weigh 175 LBS
LAFM: Do you consider yourself a quick guy or a fast guy?
I am in the middle. I’m neither the quickest nor the fastest guy, but I’m not slow either. I guess I’m just a mixture because I don’t get beat on plays
LAFM: 40-yard dash time?
LAFM: Who is your football idol and why?
Tim Tebow simply because he is not afraid of who he is. He knows that football is not the number one thing in this world, and that he puts God first in his life. I admire his priorities and his sense of self.
LAFM: How old were you when you started playing and where?
My dad is our defensive coordinator, so he has had me playing football ever since I could walk.
LAFM: Did anybody in your family play either college or pro ball?
My dad, Daniel Bristo, played at Harding University Arkansas as a Defensive End. I do not remember what years, but it was a while ago.
LAFM: Top 3 favorite colleges and why?
- Harding University- Both of my parents have graduated from there
- LA Tech- because they offered me to come play baseball
- LSU- I have just always been a fan of LSU since I am from Louisiana
LAFM: Did you go to any camps this summer? Which ones and how were they?
TCU, Northwestern State, University of Louisiana at Monroe, Arkansas State
They were very good for me. The coaches know what they were talking about so and I like hearing what they had to say.
LAFM: If football doesn’t work out, what do you see yourself doing? Have you thought of a major?
I want a degree in Kinesiology, because I have always wanted to be an athletic trainer, and I see myself as a football coach one day. I still have not decided if I am going to play college baseball or college football.
LAFM: What positions are you being recruited for? Which is your favorite position?
Safety, I like all the positions, but if I had to narrow it down then I would choose Quarterback or Safety
LAFM: Current GPA and ACT score?
My GPA is a 4.0 and I scored a 23 a while back on my ACT but I will be taking it again.
