LAFM: Name, position, school?
My name is Jarred Craft, and I am a RB for Haughton High School.
LAFM: Current weight and height?
6-0, 205 lbs
LAFM: 40-yard dash, and max bench, max squat, max clean?
I run a 4.6 40-yard dash. My max bench is 325, squat 465, and clean is 265.
LAFM: How did the season go for you and the team?
I wish we could have done better, but we went 6-5 and made it to the playoffs. The team had many newcomers, and I was proud of them stepping up and doing their jobs.
LAFM: What has been your best game this season?
My best game was against Woodlawn. I had 170 yards and did not even play in the 2nd half. I had 1 rushing TD and 1 receiving TD.
LAFM: Who is your favorite football player of all time?
Barry Sanders- He was a great RB. Every time he ran the ball it seemed like he would break 5 tackles and make people miss.
LAFM: How old were you when you started playing and where?
I was in 3rd grade when I started playing tackle pee wee here in Shreveport.
LAFM: Do you have any family members or friends that have had a big influence on you as you play football?
I would say all of my family. Each one inspires me to keep going every day.
LAFM: If football does not work out for you, what do you see yourself doing? Have you thought of a major in college?
I want to major in Criminal Justice. My brother takes it right now and has fun. It seems like something I would enjoy doing.
LAFM: You are committed to Louisiana Tech. Why did you choose the Bulldogs?
La Tech is a home away from home. When I went their, they greeted me with open arms. Also, I also really liked what the RB coach, Jabnar Juluke, was doing with their run game.
LAFM: What positions are you being recruited for? What is your favorite positions and why?
I am being recruited as a RB. It is something I grew up doing. I like the ball in my hands and making people miss.
LAFM: What was something special about your team this year?
The team showed alot of heart this year. Nothing was going to bring us down. Our heads were always up high and in big situations we always tried to step up.
LAFM: Outside of football, what makes your school or town special?
It is hard to put into words. We have fun at Haughton, but are still able to learn. I really enjoy going their. Also, I would like to mention the great crazy fans we have, and the great support our school gives our football team.
