My name is Jeremy Smith, and I am a RB for Hammond High Magnet School.
LAFM: Current weight and height?
6-1, 200 lbs
LAFM: Current ACT score and GPA?
20 ACT 3.0 GPA
LAFM: 40-yard dash, and max bench, max squat, max clean?
My 40-yard dash is a 4.54. I can squat 405 three times, and my max bench is 275.
LAFM: How did the season go for you and the team?
It was a good season. We were a little undersized, but we had a good young defense who played well. The team has many underclassmen coming back for next year.
LAFM: What has been your best game this season?
My best game was against South Pike (Magnolia, MS) in week 1. I had the game winning touchdown.
LAFM: Who is your favorite football player of all time?
I do not have any one favorite player, because I like so many players at different positions. I like Adrian Peterson and his hard running style. Peyton Manning is a thinker type player and is one of my favorite QB. Darrelle Revis is a lock down CB and a great player as well.
LAFM: How old were you when you started playing and where?
I was 6 when I started to play in a pee wee league.
LAFM: Do you have any family members or friends that have had a big influence on you as you play football?
Definitely my mom and dad. They have been with me supporting me for my whole life.
LAFM: If football does not work out for you, what do you see yourself doing? Have you thought of a major in college? Why?
I want to major in engineering. I like breaking down things and putting them back together.
LAFM: Are there any schools that are recruiting you? What do you like about them?
Southeastern is recruiting me. They have a great head coach, and I like how he interacts with his team. They are relaxed with him and get along well.
LAFM: What positions are you being recruited for? What is your favorite positions and why?
Southeastern is recruiting me as a RB, but other schools may recruit me as an athlete.
LAFM: Outside of football, what makes your school or town special?
The School likes to see you succeed and stay out of trouble. They like to see you have a good life.
