Our season started off tough, but we came together to reach the playoffs after two consecutive years of 2-8 seasons.  By reaching the playoffs, I believe that our small senior class has laid a foundation for our program to build upon.

LAFM: Who were you most looking forward to play this year and how did you do?

I was looking forward to playing Caldwell the most. I finished the game with 78 yards on 11 carries, 12 tackles, and 2 TFLs.

LAFM: Current height and weight?

6’1” 193

LAFM: Do you consider yourself a quick guy or a fast guy?

No, I don’t consider myself a fast guy. I rely on my knowledge and instincts more than anything.

LAFM: 40-yard dash time?

LAFM: Who is your football idol and why?

Ray Lewis is my football idol because I’ve never saw him with his head down. He always motivates his team and that inspires me.

LAFM: How old were you when you started playing and where?

I was 14 when I started playing varsity football at Jonesboro-Hodge High School.

LAFM: Did anybody in your family play either college or pro ball?

I have a few uncles who played college ball and a couple cousins who played at the professional level.

LAFM: Top 3 favorite colleges and why?

I really don’t have any favorites, but if I had to choose, Notre Dame would be first because of the tradition of the program. Next would be LSU because the school is in my state. Lastly, I like the program at Oklahoma State.

LAFM: Did you go to any camps this past summer? Which ones and how were they?

This summer, I attended camp at McNeese State. Camp was ok. I felt that I could have done much better.

LAFM: If football doesn’t work out, what do you see yourself doing? Have you thought of a major?

I have thought of Computer Science and Business information Systems as potential majors.

LAFM: What positions are you being recruited for? Which is your favorite position?

I am mainly being recruited as a Safety. I don’t have a favorite position. However, I prefer to play on the defensive side of the ball.

LAFM: Current GPA and ACT score?

My current GPA is a 3.4 and I scored a 21 on my ACT.
