LAFM: How did this season go for you and your team?

Jesse Griggs
Jesse Griggs

This season was more of a rebuilding year than anything. We lost a lot of talent from the previous year, and we didn’t have a very good relationship with each other at the beginning of the season.

LAFM: What was your best game this season, and why?

I had pretty solid games all season, but my best all around game was probably against Catholic High in the play-offs.

LAFM: Current height and weight?

6’5” and 247 pounds

LAFM: 40-yard dash time?

4.9 seconds

LAFM: Who is your football idol and why?

My football idol would have to be Nick Saban. His understanding of the game is unbelievable.

LAFM: How old were you when you started playing and where?

I started playing football when I was 7 at Caysi Park.

LAFM: If football doesn’t work out, what do you see yourself doing? Have you thought of a major?

I am going to college to major in criminal justice. I want to be a Field Agent for the DEA.

LAFM: What positions are you being recruited for?

I am being recruited for Offensive Tackle.

LAFM: What schools are recruiting you, and do you have any favorites yet?

Nicholls State is the only school recruiting me right now.

LAFM: Current GPA and ACT score?

I have a 2.6 GPA and a 21 on the ACT.
