LAFM: How is the season preparation going thus far?
This season is going pretty well. We are 5-1 and ranked 2nd in district. We are just taking it week by week, and hopefully that will win us the district championship.
LAFM: Who are you looking forward to play this year and why?
I’m really looking forward to playing Peabody. We have a little rivalry with them since we are from the same area.
LAFM: Current height and weight?
5’ 8” 186
LAFM: Do you consider yourself a quick guy or a fast guy?
I would say I’m a quick guy, but I am also a downfield runner.
LAFM: 40-yard dash time?
LAFM: Who is your football idol and why?
My football idol is definitely Reggie Bush. He has a lot of speed, but he also has some power, and I’ve been a fan of his since he was at USC.
LAFM: How old were you when you started playing and where?
I started playing football when I was six. I played triple A at The Big Island.
LAFM: Top 3 favorite colleges and why?
I really like LSU and Alabama. I like how LSU runs their offense, and everything Alabama does is explosive. I also like Grambling because of their coaching staff.
LAFM: Did you go to any camps this summer? Which ones and how were they?
Yeah, I went to the Nike Combine in Dallas. I got a lot of good work in there.
LAFM: If football doesn’t work out, what do you see yourself doing? Have you thought of a major?
I think I would like to be an engineer, so I would major in engineering. And if that doesn’t work out, I would like to be a coach.
LAFM: What positions are you being recruited for? Which is your favorite position?
I’m being recruited for wide receiver and running back, but more for wide receiver. I like playing receiver a little more too.
LAFM: Current GPA and ACT score?
I have a 2.1 GPA and I am taking the ACT in a week.
