LAFM: Name, position, school?

My name is Jordan Kennedy, and I play WR for Calvary Baptist High School.


LAFM: Current height and weight?

6-4,  195 lbs


LAFM: Current ACT score and GPA?

GPA is a 3.2, but I have not gotten my scores back for the ACT.


LAFM: 40 yard dash, Max Bench Press, Max cleans, Max Squat?

I ran a 4.6 40/yard dash. My max is 205 bench,  225 clean, and 300 squat.



LAFM: How is the season going for you and your team?

It is going pretty well. We have grown as a team these past few weeks, and are really starting to work together.


LAFM: What has been your best game so far this season?

West Monroe, I played really well.  I got a lot of touches and made some plays. They are a very tough team which made it a really fun game.


LAFM: Who is your favorite football player of all time?

Justin Blackmond- I enjoyed watching him in college because he always made big catches in big situations.


LAFM: How old were you when you started playing and where?

I was 6 years old playing for SPAR Brookwood Broncos. It was a little league team at a recreational park.


LAFM: Do you have any family members or friends that have had a big influence on you as you play football?

My parents have always supported me playing football. They take me to practice every day and always tell me the right things to help me get through the days.

Also, My Coach John Bachman SR. has been a huge influence on me. He has helped me grow into my position and taught me everything about playing WR. He is always positive and always telling the team and myself the right things.


LAFM: If football does not work out for you, what do you see yourself doing? Have you thought of a major in college?

I want to major in Marine Biology. I love Animals Science and being by the water.


LAFM: Are there any schools that are recruiting you? Do you have any favorites? Are you interested in any colleges?

I have had a few schools such as McNeese talk to me, but have not received any offers. I am looking at all possibilities, and have even sent my information to some schools in California. No one school stands out yet.


LAFM: What positions are you  being recruited for? What is your favorite positions and why?

WR is definitly my favorite position. I love making big plays and big catches when it is important.


LAFM: What makes your school special?

I really like how everybody knows everybody. I feel like everybody is a family and through thick and thin we will be their for each other.

About Reid Althage

Reid is from Harvey, LA and went to Brother Martin High School. He played men's NAIA soccer at LSU Shreveport for his first 2 years college. His junior year, Reid transferred to Baton Rouge and graduated from LSU with a Sports Administration Degree. He started with LAFM as an Intern in April 2013 and was hired in October. Reid loves anything to do with sports (Saints, Pelicans, and Liverpool FC Fan), the outdoors, and family/friends.
