LAFM: Name, position, school?

My name is Lance Romero, and I am a MLB for Mangham High School

LAFM: Current weight and height?

5-11, 200 lbs

LAFM: Current ACT score and GPA?

ACT 17 GPA 3.2

LAFM: Max bench, max clean?

My max bench is 325, and max clean is 285.

LAFM: How did the season go for you and the team?

The season went great. We played in the State Championship and just came up a little short in the end.

LAFM: What was your favorite game this season?

It was probably when we beat OCS (Ouachita Christian School) in week 7 or 8. We were an underdog and no one gave us a chance. We went out their, played hard, and we beat them.

LAFM: Who is your favorite football player of all time?

Jimmy Graham- He plays with so much emotion, and then has the ability to back it up.

LAFM: How old were you when you started playing and where?

I started playing around 3rd Grade. It was a pee wee league here in Mangham.

LAFM: Do you have any family members or friends that have had a big influence on you as you play football?

My brother was a QB at Mangham. He started from his sophomore year through his senior year. He has always motivated me and has been an inspiration.

LAFM: If football does not work out for you, what do you see yourself doing? Have you thought of a major in college? Why?

I am going into Construction Management. I really like to build.

LAFM: Are there any schools that are recruiting you? Or are you thinking about walking on anywhere?

No, I will not be playing football past high school. I have had knee problems throughout my high school career and am actually going into surgery tomorrow.

LAFM: What made the team special this year?

We were more of a team this year. We played really well together and did not depend on individuals for success.

LAFM: What makes Mangham a great town?

I love our community. They always travel with us to our away games. At our home games, we have big tailgate parties. They are just awesome.
