LAFM: Name, position, school?

My name is Jamarius Williams. This past season I played QB for Union Parish High School.

LAFM: Current height and weight?

6-3,  190 lbs

LAFM: Current ACT score and GPA?

18 ACT,  GPA  3.7

LAFM: 40-yard dash, max bench, and max squat?

I run a 4.41 40-yard dash.  My max bench is 255 and max squat is 355.

LAFM: How did the season go for you and the team? How did it feel playing in the dome?

It went really well. We won the State Championship in the dome.

Playing in the dome was amazing. It felt like I was in Heaven.

LAFM: What has been your best game this season?

My best game was against Rayville High School. I had 315 total yards in that game.

LAFM: Who is your favorite football player of all time?

Cam Newton-Football is more than a game to him. He is a great player.

LAFM: Do you have any family members or friends that have had a big influence on you as you play football?

Coach Guillot (QB coach) had a big influence on me this year. He really helped me out and had me improve as a QB.

LAFM: If football does not work out for you, what do you see yourself doing? Have you thought of a major in college? Why?

Well, I am also a baseball player. I am being recruited in that sport as well. As for a job outside of sports, I could see myself becoming a pharmacist.

LAFM: Are there any schools that are recruiting you for football? Do you have any favorites? Do you favor either playing football or baseball in college?

ULL, McNeese, Northwestern, and Southern Mississippi. I have no favorites as of now. I am kind of leaning towards both football and baseball if it would be possible.

LAFM: What positions are you being recruited for? What is your favorite positions and why?

I am being recruited as an Athlete. I would like to play QB. By playing QB, I am able to take control of the offense, and I do enjoy the leadership role which comes with the position.

LAFM: What do you yourself offer to schools that are recruiting you?

I have good speed, size and overall ability. Along with those, I am a good leader with a great mentality.

LAFM: Looking back at this past year, what made this years team special?

It was the bond between the team. It was not just a bunch of guys going out to practice and play everyday. We were a family that played for each other.
