LAFM: Name, position, school?

My name is Kyler Perrault, and I played DB for Carencro High School.

LAFM: Current height and weight?

6-0,  185 lbs

LAFM: Current ACT score and GPA?

19 ACT   2.5 GPA

LAFM: 40-yard dash, max bench, and max squat?

I run a 4.38 40-yard dash. I also run a 1:52 in the 800 meter race in track. My max bench is 275. My max squat is 315.

LAFM: How did the season go for you and the team? What made this years team special?

I mean it wasn’t good but it was not bad. We had a new coach bring in a new system which was a challenge for the team to adjust to. Overall, our team needed better communication in order to be more successful. Our defense was a special unit. We brought back many of the guys from last year and played hard all year long.

LAFM: What has been your best game this season?

I had two really good games. Against Sulphur, I had two interceptions along with 5 tackles. Against New Iberia, I had one interception and about 5 tackles as well.

LAFM: Who is your favorite football player of all time?

Tom Brady-Just because of his leadership and the way he carries his team. He has alot of young players that he lifts up. I really admire his leadership ability.

LAFM: How old were you when you started playing and where?

I was 10 when I started playing little league in Cecilia.

LAFM: Do you have any family members or friends that have had a big influence on you as you play football?

It would have to be my dad. He cares about my future and even got me my own personal trainer. He has always pushed me and made sure I did the right thing. He also make sure I keep up with my school work and other important aspects of my life.

LAFM: If football does not work out for you, what do you see yourself doing? Have you thought of a major in college? Why?

I am probably going to major in Petroleum Engineering. That is what my dad does. Also, I am also looking toward track in college. I want to try and make it to the Olympics one day.

LAFM: Are there any schools that are recruiting you for either football or track?

I am being recruited by LSU, ULL, and ULM for both track and football. Mississippi State is recruiting me for football as well.

LAFM: Do you have any favorites?

Well I really want to go to LSU, but I am interested in Texas A&M. If I run a 1:49 in the 800, I can pretty much go to whatever school I want. It is my goal to get it down that far before the end of the season.

LAFM: What do you bring to whichever school you choose to play for whether it is football, track, or both?

You know, I really do not like to brag about myself. I will say that I am a hard worker and never mind putting in the extra work.
