It feels great to be a State Champion. We were happy to put our name in that category of top teams in the State. In the dome, it felt great to put my feet on the turf. The atmosphere was great, and I was just glad to help my team to a championship.

LAFM: When did you and the team know that you had a shot to win State? Was it something that you knew from the beginning or figured out as the season went on?

We realized our capabilities in the summer. Just looking at our team, we new that we had a chance to be one of the better teams in state. It was our goal to win a State Championship.

I bring physicality, good vision, cutting, catching, and the ability to read the game. Also, I just like playing football while staying humble. I play every game like its my last and love every second of it.

Everybody was hungry. We all had the goal to win that State Championship. We felt like last year we were not healthy. This year we were and succeeded in our goal.
