LAFM: Name, position, school?
My name is Demond Delahoussaye. I played WR/FS for Washington Marion High School.
LAFM: Current height and weight?
6-0, 180 lbs
LAFM: Do you play other sports?
Yes, I also play basketball, track, and this year I will be playing some baseball. I run the 4 x 1, the 4 x 2, and the 4 x 4 in track. In basketball, I play at the 2, 3, and 4. I will be playing outfield for baseball.
LAFM: How did the season go for you and the team?
It went great. We had a few mistakes in some games which lead to some losses. In the end, we finished with a winning record and played as a team.
LAFM: What has been your best game this season?
I played well in almost every game. Two games stand out a little more than the others. One of my better games was against Barbe. I had 4 catches for 155 yards and 2 TDs.
I had another good game against Rayne. I finished with 8 catches for about 227 yards and 2 TDs.
LAFM: Who is your favorite football player of all time?
Adrian Peterson-He just cant be stopped. The guy is a beast.
LAFM: How old were you when you started playing and where?
I was about 6 or 7 when I started playing. It was tackle football and our team name was the Jaguars.
LAFM: Do you have any family members or friends that have had a big influence on you as you play football?
My coaches, teachers, mom and dad have all been their for me. They have always been supportive and wanted the best for me no matter what.
LAFM: If football does not work out for you, what do you see yourself doing? Have you thought of a major in college? Why?
I am majoring in Mechanical engineering. It is just something that interests me.
LAFM: Are there any schools that are recruiting you? What do you like about them?
McNeese is for sure looking at me. Still, I really want to go to a JUCO college, so I can develop and go play for a big time DI program.
LAFM: What position(s) are you being recruited for? What is your favorite position?
I am being recruited as a WR. I like running with and catching the ball. Scoring TDs is pretty fun as well.
LAFM: What do you bring to whichever program you choose to go play for?
I am competitive and an extremely hard worker. When I am on the field I believe no one can guard me.
LAFM: Looking back at this past year, what made this years team special?
Just playing with the team and all the guys. It was a great having Coach Harrison who has been their for me since my freshman year and leading me in the right direction all that time.
