Coach Landry enters his first year as the head coach after serving as the offensive coordinator the past few seasons.

Johnson is a 4-star recruit and the #1 athlete in the state of Louisiana according to 247 Sports. He is committed to play at LSU. Hills is a 3-star and the #4 defensive lineman in the state according to 247 Sports. He is committed to play at Texas.
