Collegiate High School is a relatively new school in baton-rouge as it opened its doors in 2016 and fielded its first football team in 2018.
Head Coach Charlie Brooks went to high school at Tuscaloosa Central High School in the state of Alabama. Coach Brooks went to at Northwestern State for Football. The Dolphins run a 4-2-5 Defense.
“Our numbers have increased in our program,” Brooks said. “We have doubled the amount of players in 2023. We started with 6 players , then 17 and now we have 35 players in the program.”
The key players back to start on both sides of the football are new starter QB David Hueing (5-10, 175, Sr.) but he has been a part of this program for four years, RB Taurus Montogermy (5-9, 200), SS/WR Haidyn Moten (6-0, 180, Sr.) who has 4.5 speed, OG/DT Jakody Mitchell (5-8, 330, Sr.) lettered in 2022, OC/DT Davon Herbert (6-1, 255), a smart heady player, FS/WR Jamarienta Battley (6-0, 160, Sr.), ATH/QB Zyon Taylor (6-1, 165). HB/TE Tavion Williams (6-2, 220, Sr.), TE/DE Tyler Roberson (6-2, 235, Sr.) with 4.8 speed, OL/DL De’Isaac Jackson (6-2, 310, Sr.) with good feet and RB Treymontae Jones (6-0, 180, Sr.).
The Dolphins are currently looking for their first win in two seasons as they have started the season 0-4.
