First-year East Jefferson Head Coach Brian Glover is a graduate of Pointe Coupee High School (Class of 1995). Coach did a really good job with Grace King High School as the head coach from 2020 to 2022.

East Jefferson has started on the right foot as the Warriors are 2-1 to start the season.

The Warriors will have Gaven Bester (6-1, 170) as the starting quarterback. East Jeff will have some good skill players in WR/FS Henry Lee (6-1, 180, 4.55 speed, Sr.), WR/DE Dorrion Hollins (6-5, 210, 4.6 speed), WR David Johnson (5-10, 170) who has great hands 4.6 speed, WR Malcolm Jones (5-11, 165), RB Jayden Obiekwe (5-7, 170), CB Chris Filmore 5-8 160 tough kid, RB Rodney Trimont (5-9, 165) and SS/FS Ty Tobias (6-1, 180) with a lot of ability.

East Jefferson OL Zion Washington

Key players back in the front seven are OG Zion Washington (6-1, 285, Sr.) who is a great player for the program, DE Dorrion Hollins (6-5, 210) who will also get some reps as a wide receiver, returning starter DT/DE Manuel Aguilar (6-0, 265), OL David Melendes (5-11, 255), DT Leonard Rivero (5-8, 225), LB Cody Jones (5-11, 200), MLB Dylan Navarre (5-10, 195), OC/OT Lamar Smith (6-1, 260), DE Henrique DeJesus (6-2, 190) and LB Drew Poche (5-10, 190, Sr.) who is a new starter.

On special teams, Kevin Velasques (5-8, 155, Sr.) will handle the kicking duties.
