“We have great work ethic, attitude and I love that the kids are buying in for 2023,” Eunice High School head coach Andre Vige said. “We have a chance to win a district championship.”

The Eunice offense has 2 really good quarterbacks back in senior Christian Andrepont (5-8, 160) and Montana Brown.There’s a good chance you might see both play a lot in the beginning of the season till one settles in. The other QB can start at another position to help the team win.

The run game so important in this program for years will have different players carry the ball but starting off these players will lead in three-year starter WB/LB Isaiah Thomas (5-9, 205) who power and speed, FB/RB Bryan Allen (5-8, 190) tough kid with power, RB Thaddeus Godfrey (5-7, 170, 4.6 speed) who is quick in open space and RB/WR/SS Trent Gallow (5-9, 160, 4.45 speed). The offensive line will be young overall led by senior OT Josh Simien (5-9, 230), Center Landon Rougeaux (6-0, 285), OT Joseph Johnson, OG Caleb Arceneaux (6-0, 230), and OG Chris Malbrough (6-0, 210). The Bobcats also have talented TE Cameron Carrier (6-3, 220) with great hands. The wide receiver group has potential to be really good with senior WR/CB Jared Thomas (5-9, 170, 4.59 speed), Trent Gallow RB/WR and senior WR Alex Ned (6-3, 170).

The Defense will be young and lean on key players up front in senior OLB Lathan Kennedy (5-8, 200, three-year starter senior DE Jonathan McQuirter (5-9, 195) and senior LB Paul Edwards (6-0, 175). The defensive backfield returns leader Xavier Hebert (5-9, 160, 4.6 speed) who led team in interceptions in 2022.

Coach Vige played quarterback at both Eunice (Class of 1997) and ULM. Eunice had two players sign from the 2023 class: FB/LB Hayden Darbonne (walking on at UL Lafayette) and WR/CB Tyshun Joseph (Louisiana Christian).
