The school has been in existence for 12 years in Opelousas. However, this season will be the first year to play a JV Schedule and will play varsity for the next football season. The Bulldogs are not playing a district schedule yet in 2023.

The players who will lead this school in its first-ever football season in 2023 are QB Kevin Johnwell (6-0, 170) RB Caden Arvie (5-8, 165), RB/FS Jeremy Sonnier (5-9, 165), WR Tallion Rideau (6-4, 176), TE Evan Thomas (6-4, 210), OL Denver Andrus (6-0, 265), DT Dillon Jones (6-0 250), LB Austin Simon (5-10, 180), CB Keith Young (5-9, 165), and DB/WR/QB Justin Chavis (5-7, 158).

Head coach Ross Akpan graduated from C.E. Byrd High School in Shreveport (Class of 2000). went to San Diego State where he played on the offensive line at 6-6, 281 pounds back in the day. Coach Akpan was the offensive coordinator for Madison Prep High School in baton-rouge from 2019 to 2022.
