Lakeshore WR Jaden Wells

Lakeshore head coach Brent Indest wins wherever he goes. In his first year in 2022, the Titans went 10-3. When Indest was the head coach of both Catholic (New Iberia), his alma mater, and Carencro, he led them into the playoffs every year. I think he will have Lakeshore in the playoffs every year and deep in the playoffs too.

“This is my first normal Spring in four years,” said Indest. “We return the whole Offensive Line which im excited about. We lost our experience at both running back & linebacker. I am also excited that I have my first full staff since going back to my days as head coach for Carencro HS and that’s a big plus for this program moving forward.”

The offense will be led by a new QB Beaux Bernard, who is a talented athlete with a good arm and good feet. The offense also returns talented WR Jaden Wells, who had over 800 yards receiving in 2022 and is tough as nails. The run game will rely on Dylan Cusachs as well as Oudry Gross, who is another talented young player.

Lakeshore OL Landen Bertucci

The offensive line will be the anchor of this team with players like senior C Austin Roberts (6-3, 280), senior OT John Michael Papis (6-0, 250), senior OG Landon Bertucci (6-1, 235), OG/OT Beauxdy Willie (6-1, 320), and OG Reece Jones (6-2, 230). The Titans also have a handful of H-Backs in Spencer Rogers (6-0, 270) and Tyson Wall (6-1, 200) who are both very good blockers.

The defense will rely on toughness and quickness in the front seven by a handful of seniors including LB Jared Roberson (5-8, 180), DT/DE Bryce Lajaunie (5-8, 185), DT Ivan Syna (5-11, 250), DT Ivan Synakiewicz (6-0, 210) and DE Kaden Broussard (6-3, 250). The defensive backfield will have senior FS Gavin Stein (5-9, 180), senior CB Andre Ridgley (5-10, 180), who is a returning starter, SS Landen Schlink (6-1, 180), who was All-District in 2022 and senior SS Nathan Miller (5-9,170).

The special teams will be led by kicker Aidan Sheldon (5-10, 150), who is a second year starter with a very good leg.
