“We lost 24 Seniors to graduation, who played the bulk of the last 3 years for us,” Liberty head coach Korey Lindsey said. “We had a ton of injuries in 2022 and that led us having to play a good bit of our J.V. squad. I do feel good we have that experience now and return between 80 to 85 players this fall for the season.”

The Patriots’ offense will be led by QB Owen Ellis who enters his first year as the starting field general. The run game has three talented players RB Dedrick Welch, speedster RB Aaron Elzy and RB Zaiden Foster (4.45 speed) is also fast and talented. The offensive line also lost some experience but did return veteran experienced players Keydren Holliday (6-1, 275, Sr.) and OT Jayden Downey (6-1, 270).
