The Martin Luther King Jaguars are off to a 1-3 start. However, there is still time to turn it around as there are still games left to play in the season.

The Offense has playmakers again with QB Joseph Riley IV back for the 2023 season. Riley had 20 Touchdowns in 2022 and he might break that in 2023. The rest of the offense has speed and a lot of firepower with players like WR Christian Doyle (6-3, 185), WR/CB Gary Donaldson (6-2, 180) who is new to the game, ATH Kendell Neveaux, ATH Chance Marioneaux and WR/CB Cameron Gibson (5-10, 170).

The program has some quality linemen and Linebackers back in three-year starter OC/OG Shomari Norwood (5-11, 330), OT Antoine Brown (5-11, 265), DT Tyrie Jackson 5-11 255 new to the game, DE/FB Donovan Zeringee (5-10, 240), OL/DL Ali Doherty (5-11, 265), TE/LB Andre Graham (5-10, 190) who was the leading tackler back from the 2022 season, OL Joseph Sanders, OL Antwan Rounds and there will be younger players to add depth if there’s injuries.

Head Coach Joseph Riley gets the most out of his players and does a great job every year. This program plays a tough schedule every year and they find a way to win games with small numbers but great kids who work hard.
