2024 Playoffs: Non-Select 

Key Graduated Players: RB Jordan Case, RB/CB Tamarjah Ferrel, TE/FB Kam Gridsby, and CB Jay Allen

Team Outlook: “Theres potential here. My coaches assistants will not be with me until the Summer. Excited to get to work and be here,” said coach Ware. 

The program will build around QB/WR Brock Case 2nd year starter. Case is a very good Athlete. Most starters will start both sides of the football. More key players back are OL/DL Jamariln Evans (5-8, 210) SR, Center Eli Kimble (6-2, 250) SR, OL/DT Bryce Parker (6-3, 270) SR 3rd year starter, LB Eli Santelices (5-10, 165) 3rd year starter leader, FB Kentravion Miller RB/SS/QB (6-0, 160) SR, and WR/CB James Maxie (5-10, 145) SR 2nd year starter.

Key Players Graduated: DT Terrance Pegues, RB Rykelyn Van Zandt, LB Jermichael Howard, and Jeremiah Eckles

Team Outlook: “Team is confident after Spring. We have a system now in place. Last year kids where trying to learn everything fast. We have a really good senior group coming back. We will be 75 percent run in our Offense but will throw it when we need too,” said coach Barbay. 

The Offense returns speed and experience at skill spots in QB Shamal Booker 2nd year starter (6-1, 160) SR, RB Terrell Pegues 2nd year starter, RB/WR/DB Kalvin Jackson (5-10, 160) SR 4.59 speed, RB/CB/WR Jaylan O’Neal (5-8, 155) SR lead state with 8 interceptions in 2023, TE Tamagae Carroll, TE/FB Jeremy Youngblood (6-0, 205) SR, and RB Jaden Ross (5-7, 145) SR tough for his size and strong DB. Offensive Line will have OT Davion Davis (5-10, 255) SR 2nd year starter, OG DeAnthony Chambers (5-10, 245) SR, Center Darrin Wells (5-10, 245) SR one of the strongest players in Louisiana, OG William Phoenix (6-1, 235) SR, and OT Zamarion Booker (6-2, 300) SR 2nd year starter. The Defense returns some experence too in DT Jordan Hivas (5-11, 280), OLB/SS Jacoby DeWitt (5-10, 170) SR big time player, OLB/SS Jaylun Howard (6-1, 185) SR, LB Jamerian Atkins (5-8, 190) SR 2nd year starter, and DB Aaron Exckles (5-11, 160) SR.

2023 Playoffs: 2nd round beat South Plaquemines HS and Quarterfinals lost to St. James HS

Key Graduated Players: OLB Tyren Singelton (LSU), RB Jeremiah James, WR/SS Josh Hendrickson, CB/RB Kedrick Gosey, TE Mason Leach, Kicker Deacon LaFollette, DE/LB Swazy Carheel, and WR/CB Trevor McClendon, and QB Hayden Evans

Team Outlook: “Young in spots in 2024. Lost a lot on the Offensive Line from 2023. Defense more ahead of the Offense for 2024. We lost 26 seniors from the 2023 team,” said coach Barrett. 

The Tigers will return QB Levi Booker, who missed some games in 2023 with a injury. Booker has talent size (6-1, 205) a SR and leader of a young team in 2024. The new RB will be Daniel Thomas a 4 sport athlete for the school. The Offensive Line young will be lead to start off in 2024 by Center Bryan Webb a 3 year starter (6-0, 230) SR, and OL Gavin Pemberton (6-0, 235) SR new starter. The number one WR back going into Summer will be WR Ky Warren (5-11, 178) SR 2nd year starter playmaker for team. THe Defense also young will be able to build around DT Caden Williams (6-3, 300) 2nd year starter SR, LB/SS Jonas Henrickson 2nd year starter, MLB JJ Anderson (6-1, 225) SR leader 3 year starter, DB Jaylon Lee (5-10, 195) SR, and DB Kash Oxley (5-11, 175) SR 2nd year starter. 

Red River Bulldogs

Head Coach: Byron Keller (2nd year) 

2023 Record: 3-8

2023 Playoffs: 1st round lost to Pine HS

2024 Playoffs: Non-Select

Key Graduated Players: LB/DE Reginald Prealow Jr, SS/RB/QB Terrell Garry, TE/DE Chris Carper. 

Team Outlook: “Good have a year under my belt with the program. Feel good lost some great seniors but further along than we where last year as a program. We should dress anywhere from 45-50 players Summer/Fall for the program,” said coach Keller. 

A lot of experience lost to graduation from the 2023 team. The 2024 team will still return some young talented players. The Offense will have QB Malik Smith with 4.6 speed a Dual Threat QB. The run game will be strong again with RB Montreveun Smith (5-9, 205) SR big time player, RB/FB/LB Jayden Stewart (5-10, 215) SR, and RB/SS Cameron Hobley as a group will tough to stop for any Defense. The WR spot and Defensive Backs have talent in CB/WR Warren Bowman smart tough kid All Distict in 2023, FS Cameron Jones Athlete tough players, LB/RB Jacob Kellog (5-9, 185) all out leader and RB, and WR Jamello McDonald (6-2, 175) SR big time playmaker with 4.5 speed. Key lineman back are OL/DL Steven Wimberly (5-10, 200) SR, OL/DL Kalleon Demery (6-0, 235) SR 3 year starter leader, Center Cole Pierce (5-10, 190), DT/OL Jarvis Whitaker 2nd team All District in 2023, and a few younger players needing to step up in 2024. Special Teams Kicker and Punter still open after Spring.

Team Outlook: The Tigers return a few players still young team but promising potential in 2024. The Offense has competition between Damascus Lewis (6-1, 185) SR 4 year starter leader in program. Also QB Nicholas Mockosher another talented player with a good arm. The run game has talent in RB/DE/LB Jeremy Mamon (6-1, 225) SR 4 year starter leader recovered from injury in 2023 missed some games great player. There’s also RB/WR Jaylon Jackson (6-0, 200) SR, FB/MLB Zaelyn Thomas strong player, and other young players needing to step up. WR you also have WR Jordan Washington (6-0, 180) SR new starter with 4.5 speed. The Offensive Line has some size and ability in Center Peyton Glenn (5-11, 265) SR, leader, OG Lathan Street (5-11, 265), OT Jacob Crosler (6-3, 290), OG Joe Lewis (6-3, 300), OT Bradley Taylor (6-3, 250), and OT Andrew Chevallier (6-0, 265), and TE Gabe Wren (6-1, 205). Defense has some leaders back in John MichaelPickett (5-10, 190) SR leader, LB Josh Hayes (6-0, 190) SR, DT Jayvian Woods (5-11, 210), CB Javen Jackson (6-1, 185), and CB Detavious Williams (5-10, 175) really fast 4.45 speed. Special Teams will be Gabe Wren as the Punter and Kicker in 2024.
