Key Players Graduated: FS Keith Vallian, RB Marquez Austin, OL/DL Connor Segura, DE/RB Devin Mouton, LB/DE Gerard Schenk, RB/DE Javon Brown, OL/DL William Minvielle, OL/LB Thomas Beaullie, OL/DL Drew Desormeaux (ULL), DT James Jones, and DT Kameron Landor

Team Outlook: “Lost a lot at RB. Only one starter back on the Offensive Line. A lot of skill players. We have a chance to be a really good team in 2024. Our lineman are talented but young. We can make a run in 2024,” said coach Desormeaux. 

The key to season in 2024 settling in at RB and the program has several players who will rotate in RB/Safety Owen Morris, RB/LB Michael Haik (5-10, 180), RB/LB Bennett Woodring (6-1, 195) SR 4.65 speed leader, RB/DE Tylan Sonn (5-10, 180), and RB/LB JD Hidalgo (5-11, 195) SR. You could also see starting DB/WR Tristan Lewis at some RB too (5-11, 170) SR with 4.5 speed sleeper. The QB spot is in good hands returning 3rd year starter Luke Landry (5-11, 185) SR big time leader for the team. The Offensive Line lost some experience and starters but has several players to compete here with OT/DL Roan Judice (6-5, 270) 2nd year starter, OT/DL Jack Poirier (6-1, 240), OG/DT Avery Delcambre (6-2, 275), OG/DT Desmond Jones (5-11, 255), OC/DT Elijah Butts (5-11, 275), OC/DT Luke Hewitt (6-1, 235), OC/OT Jacob Minvielle (6-8, 230), and OC/DT Michael Bertrand (5-11, 235). The WR position is made up of most of the starters in the Secondary in WR/CB Jaiden Mitchell (5-8, 155) SR 2nd year starter fast playmaker, WR/DB Tristian Lewis, WR Gavin Roy (5-10, 155) SR, WR Jack Wyman (5-10, 160) also teams backup QB, WR/TE Joseph Leblanc (6-0, 180) SR good hands, TE/DE Joseph Trappey (6-1, 180), and WR Chris Green 4 year starter leader also OLB/SS for team sleeper (6-1, 190) SR. More Defensive players that will start or play a lot are DE Tander Labauve (6-2, 195) 4.65 speed, LB Izaac Andre (5-10, 198), LB/DE Jace Ruskoski (6-1, 190) SR, CB Layton Mitchell (5-10, 160), and Safety Karon Eugene a really good young player in the program. Special Teams you have Kicker Bennett Boudreaux (5-11, 165) SR sleeper really good player with a good leg. 

Delcambre Panthers

Key Players Graduating: FB/LB Eli Leblanc, FB/LB Kadyn Bourgeois, and WR/DB Tallon Guiberteau

Team Outlook: “We where young last year. We arre stronger more ready for varsity schedule. Looking forward to this to translate to the football field in 2024,” said coach Liuzza. 

The program will have a new QB in Rix Robin a leader who lettered in 2023. Robin will have some really good skill players around him on in RB Hugo Morales (5-8, 170) leading rusher in 2023 with quickness and toughness, WR Genesis Tolentino (5-8, 160) SR, TE Nash Perero, RB/OLB Alex Larson, RB/OLB Eli Larson (6-1, 175), RB/FS Kohl Fountleroy, FB/LB Nate Prioux new starter, RB/MLB Naveh Mguyen (5-8, 160) started in 2023, and CB Maddox Gary 2nd year starter might see some time on Offense. Key lineman back are OL/DL Logan Mouton (5-10, 210), OC/DT Carson Creightan (5-10, 240), OT/DT Flynn Gordan (5-10, 230), and a few younger players competing for the 2024 season. Special Teams Kicker will be QB Rix Robin

Franklin Hornets

Head Coach: Tremayne Johnson (7th year) 

2023 Record: 6-6

2023 Playoffs: 1st round beat Grand Lake HS 46-13, and 2nd round lost to Logansport HS 58-12.

Team Outlook: “Team coming up bunch hard working kids. Junior group and great Freshman group on varsity for the 2024 season. Excited about the 2024 season coming up,” said coach Johnson. 

The Offense skill spots have speed and experience WR/OLB Trey’Shawn Johnson (6-1, 205) SR 4.59 speed MVP in Basketball State Title game, big time player RB/OLB Tamaja Johnson (6-0, 195) SR 4.59 speed leader 112 tackles in 2023 and 21 touchdowns as a RB, QB/CB Jylon Jackson (5-11, 165) SR big time Football IQ, WR/CB Corric Thomas (5-10, 160) SR 4.5 speed big time player, RB/DB Dashun Lighfoot 4.45 speed, QB/DB Jhari Perry 4.6 speed, WR/DB Jorien Gray (6-0, 160) SR, WR/DB Jeremiah Gray (5-9, 160) SR, RB/DB Kellen Kemp (5-7, 155) 4.6 strong player, and WR/OLB Mark Jones (6-0, 180) 4.6 speed and great hands. Team Outlook: “Made playoffs in 2022 and 2023 but took 10 years before that as a program. Really young team but excited for 2024. We do have some young battled tested players  from 2023 to compete at a high level this coming season,” said coach Celestine. 

The Offense will have a new QB in Logan Bardarson (5-11, 210) lettered in 2023 has a good arm and feet and most of all a leader as a SR. More key players back are RB/LB Luke Breaux (5-9, 185) SE leading tackler in 2023, RB/LB Detrick Fangui, WR/DB Samuel Theriot (6-2, 175) 2nd year starter had 3 interceptions in 2023, WR/CB Brody Liner (5-11, 185) 2 interceptions in 2023, WR/Safety Koby Singelton 4.45 speed, OG/DT/OT Cameron Fregeau (6-2, 270) SR leader, OT Dominigue Duplantis (6-1, 275) SR Squats 670 pounds, TE/FB/LB Cohen Danos (6-5, 205) new starter with 4.7 speed, OC/DT Kannon Cadwell (6-1, 280) Athlete, and OT/DT Colton Michael (6-5, 250) new starter with feet. Team Outlook: “Main goal senior group lets see if we can finally beat one of these 3A teams in the playoffs to move forward in 2024,” said coach Martin. 

The team has a good mix of lineman to skill players back both sides of the ball. Some key players back are QB Hayden Benoit the new starter with 4.8 speed good and a good arm, DT/OL Dylan Singelton (6-3, 286) SR 4 year starter really talented kid, RB/CB/Safety/QB Blake Delcambre (5-8, 175), RB Ridge Honore, RB/LB Thomas Carter has great speed 4.5, RB/LB Maddox Savoy (5-9, 195) SR leader tough kid, OL/DL Owen Broussard (6-2, 250) smart tough kid, Center Carlos Martin (5-9, 215) SR, WR/FS Kylon Polk (5-9, 158) SR playmaker 8 interceptions in 2023, WR/NB Gavin Judice (5-11, 170) SR 4.6 speed leader, WR Eli Theodole (6-1, 170) SR 4.6 speed, WR John Munnerlyn (6-2, 190) SR 2nd year starter 4 touchdowns in 2023, TE Caiden Carline (6-3, 215) SR 2nd year starter, OL/DL Christopher Jones (6-1, 240), OG Nathan Brodin (5-7, 215) SR coming off injury in 2023, DT/OL John David Judice (5-9, 210), and WR/DB Pharrell Nora (5-10, 165) SR 2nd year starter with 4.65 speed.

Team Outlook: “Feel like we got to find a identity. We need to establish a culture in Spring & Summer,” said coach Mouton. 

Teams best two player’s return in J’Kaylon Carter (6-1, 155) SR All District in football & Track in 2023. Carter will be a big play guy at WR/Free Safety for the team and lead. Then there’s RB/LB Charles Robertson (5-8, 160) SR 4.56 speed will also play some SS/WR/CB for the team as a leader. The rest of the key players back are QB Tyshon Jackson (5-10, 170) 2nd year starter, QB Cameron Moore battling Jackson for the QB job, DE/DT Dominique Jackson (5-11, 240) Athletic, DT Markayden Gabriel (6-0, 250), DE/OLB Jayden Lewis, OT Keshaun Hoskins, OG Mylon Charles (5-11, 225) SR, DB Jordan Young (6-0, 170) SR, RB/LB Jose Martinez (5-9, 205) SR a big time hitter, and OL/DL Tristan Troxclair (5-10, 200) SR tough player leader.
