The 2024 schedule is strong just like the 2023 schedule with teams like Kennedy, MCD 35, Covington, Lafayette Christian, De La Salle, and Hahnville WOW. The program will be just as good I think with a new starting QB for the first time in 3 years Corey McTraney (5-10, 180) lettered and got a lot of experience in 2023 ready to go to lead the team. This will still be a fast team and skilled lead by RB Demico Barnes (5-9, 185) SR ran for over 1,000 yards All District in 2023. Barnes is the kind of player that can carry you into the playoffs. The Offense also has RB/WR Ryan Bailey a new starter 4.6 speed, WR/CB Teshaun Smith (5-8, 185) SR a big time Offensive & Defensive player for the team, WR/DB Jamiante Barnes (5-10, 170) SR All District in 2023 had 3 interceptions in the Spring game, WR/DB Chaz Webb (5-9, 165) SR, WR Cameron Banks (6-3, 175) SR, 4 year starter leader Larry Smith (5-10, 210) SR also a big time LB for the Defense and WR/DB Kerwin LaFrance (5-9, 170) SR. A lot of talent has come out of the program the last 6 to 7 years and theres still a lot of talent at the school. The coaches do a great job developing the kids through the weight room and coaching. Thats a tough strong OL to give this team a chance to go deep in the playoffs. The QB spot will return a leader in Evan Arceneaux a 3 year starter with size (6-2, 215) and good feet in the pocket can run when needed. Arceneaux threw for 1,900 yards and made All District in 2023. THe run game has options with RB Robert Lewis (5-10, 187) tough high IQ of the game 4.6 speed, RB Evmon Williams has 4.5 speed, and RB Charles Irving (5-7, 165) but fast 4.5 and quick.
