Head Coach: Adrian Burnette (3rd year)

2023 Playoffs: 1st Round beat Peabody HS 15-6, and 2nd Round lost to Northwest HS

Key Players Graduating: WR Javion White (Tulane), CB Johnny Goods (Louisiana Christian), WR/DB Marshawn Whitley (Trinity Valley Texas JC), LB/OG Garrett Hunt, Center Connor Perritt, RB/WR Kenyon Grant, and Kicker Jackson Cardill.
Team Outlook: “Excited about everything. Losing Javion White and Marhsawn Whitley will be tough. Team wise has a chance to be really good under the radar. We will be young at WR in 2024,” said coach Burnette.
QB Dezyrian Ellis (6-3, 180) returns, a really good Athlete 3 year starter and 4.5 speed. The Offense also returns RB Kenyon Martin who is (5-9, 190) bigger and faster in 2024. The RB room also has power back Michael Grant (5-10, 205) SR and Quindrick Shaw Jr. The WR position will be young but talented lead by WR DeChauncey White (5-11, 150) SR 2nd year starter 4.6 speed, WR/FS Avery Johnson recovered from a injury in 2023, WR Christian Jackson, WR Roterrius Rollins, WR Timothy Lewis, WR Jameson Wiggens, WR Evan Norman, and WR Malique Credit. The Offensive Line you have OT/DT Cameron Plater (6-6, 255), OC/OG Ty Williamson (5-9, 225) SR, OG Frederick Brown (5-9, 260), OG Gerren Marzell, OL Caiden Eubanks 275 pounds. The Defense front is very talented, led by DE/TE Chris Addison (6-4, 230) 4.55 speed, DE/TE Tavion Bell (6-5, 248) 4.6 speed, DT Derrick Martin (6-0, 255), DE/DT CJ Jones (5-11, 225), DT Cameron Plater (6-6, 255), LB Christian Diggs leader new starter, LB Daylon Credit (5-11, 190), MLB Melchi Smart (5-9, 220), DT Chadrick Jones (5-11, 230), LB Carl Williams IV (5-9, 195) a 4 year starter, and DT DJ Davis (5-6, 215). The Secondary you have FS Avery Johnson (6-1, 170) 2 way starter, FS/SS Treylon Martin big time player (5-11, 185), CB Xavier Boley (5-8, 160) leader tough, FS/SS Conner Lindor team captain leader, and DB/Athlete Kaiden Seals (6-2, 170) can also play some WR for team.
Grant Cougars
Head Coach: Jarvous Felton (2nd year)
2023 Record: 3-8
2023 Playoffs: 1st Round lost to Iowa HS
2024 Playoffs: Non-Select
Key Players Graduating: QB/P Jackson Hedrick, OG Hayden Edwards, RB/LB Kaden Chandler, DE Nick Gradney, OG Landon Vallee (Northwestern State).
Team Outlook: “We are only 11 kids over to be Class 4A. Most mentally locked in seen kids be. Kids are hungry to win. Made some noise in 2023. Now take the next step in 2024. We had 3 players battling for the QB job in the Spring and it might go all the way into the Summer,” said coach Felton.
The three QBs coach talked about are Zane Windham, QB Myles Futrell, and QB Gage Hossieui. All three have looked good and whoever does not win the job will compete to play somewhere in 2024 for the team. The Offense still has playmakers in WR Thadeous Young SR with 4.40 speed, WR Keith McKinney, RB/WR Ahmad Sykes has run under 4.4, WR Dalton Hayman (5-5, 145) SR quick in space, and RB Damichael Perry has some power. The Offensive Line lost some experience but returns experience in Center Madden Blalock 290 pounds, and OT Ty Brown (6-0, 280). The Defense lost some key players but returns some talented kids again in DT Michael Bunn (6-0, 300) SR, OLB Braedon Sloan, leader LB Landon Fredieu 4 year starter (6-0, 200) also a TE, LB Gavin Borland (6-0, 200) SR leader, DE/TE Jaidon Moore, DE Jake Glass 2 nd year starter, CB Peyton Debuski SR, CB/FS Isaiah McKinney (6-0, 190) 4.5 leader, and DT/DE 3 year starter Kourtland Elie (6-2, 290) with 4.95 speed. Special Teams you have a strong leg Kicker Jose Guody SR in 2024 new starter.
Peabody Warhorses
Head Coach: Harry Coleman (2nd year)
2023 Record: 7-5
2023 Playoffs: 1st Round beat B.T.W New Orleans HS, and 2nd Round lost to Lafayette Christian HS.

Key Players Graduated: WR/DB Dartavin Depass (Grambling State) DB Eric Vories, FS/LB Lathan Jimmerson, DT/DE Zyrian Taylor, TE/LB Cedrick Allen.
Team Outlook: “Spring/Summer getting guys up to speed for Fall. A few young guys need to step up and we will be younger in the Offensive & Defensive Lines in 24. We graduated 16 seniors and 7 of them were starters in 2023,” said coach Coleman.
The Offense returns QB Larry Roberts has a good arm and knows the Offense All District in 2023. Skill talent is there lead by 4 year starter Terry Hullaby 4.4 player plays WR/P/DB/PR for the team. Also at skill spots are WR Tru Martin SR (6-0, 170) 4.5 speed, RB David Newton, and RB Malik Lewis, a SR, will need to step up at RB in 2024. The Offensive Line returns OL/DT Byron Wilcox a 3 year starter (6-0, 255), and Center Malik Armstead (6-3, 260) 2 time All District player for the program. The Defensive front will lead the young Defense DE Alonzo Joseph (6-0, 220), DE/RB Jeremiah Moore (6-0, 220) SR, and LB Jerrell Howard (5-11, 205) SR, sat out 2023 season. The Defensive Backfield has a chance to be good with players like CB Jordan Veal (5-10, 160) 4.5 All District in 2023, CB/FS Corren Coleman 2nd year starter, and CB Guy Harbor (6-0, 180) SR 4.55 speed missed last year.
Tioga Indians
Head Coach: Kevin Cook (10th year)
2023 Record: 9-3
2023 Playoffs: Lost to ST. Paul’s HS.
2024 Playoffs: Select
Key players Graduating: WR Jacorian Norris (ULL), WR/SS Joshua Loyd, OLB Gunner Delaney, LB Elliott Fruge, OG Gustavo Soto, OT Preston Rodrigues and DB Maximus Kadrna (Dickinson State).
Team Outlook: “The young Offensive Line key to the season for us playing well. We lost 4 Defensive Backs and a lot of experience on Defense. The second largest graduating class in my tenure and the schedule got tougher will be a challenge for us. It will be the largest roster in my tenure at the school. We also have a bigger staff in 2024. We will be led by our younger players.”
The Offense returns 2nd year starter Cace Malone has a good arm and good feet in the pocket for the program. The rest of the skill talent will be WR Kervin Johnson All District in Basketball, RB Travis Adams SR with 4.4 speed at (5-10, 175), RB/SS/LB Kenny Pontheir 2nd year starter tough strong kid, new TE Ryan Reeves (5-10, 207) SR also FB with good hands, and WR Evan Bridges. Younger players will get playing time mixed in. The Offensive Line will be OT Jayden Haggor SR at 235 pounds has good feet, OG/OC Tucker Landry 255 pounds a 3 year starter and the rest of the OL will be younger players battling through Summer for spots. The Defense will be led by these leaders: MLB Kaleb Andrus, a SR who is the most gifted player in the program and one of the best in the District at (6-2, 202) with 4.6 speed, LB S’Javion Champion 2nd year starter 4.65 speed, DT AJ Adams (5-9) 240, and CB Joel Doughy a new starter with speed and smart IQ of the game. Special Teams Kicker will be Evan Bridges 2nd year starter.
West Ouachita Chiefs
Head Coach: Mike Rainwater (4th year)
2023 Record: 6-5
2023 Playoffs: 1st Round lost to Salmen HS
2024 Playoffs: Non-Select
Key Players Graduating: DE/TE Cayden Tolbird (ULM), RB Antonio Ford (Harding), CB Corey Toston, Kicker Will Hillman.
Team Outlook: “We lost 5 starters to injuries in 2023 we were trying to stay healthy. This year we have 84 players for fall excited about the numbers up a lot with experience back. Still looking for that home playoff game,” said coach Rainwater.
QB Sam Ozark returns for his 3rd season as the team's starter. Sam is a SR captain (6-2, 210) with a good arm and command of the Offense. The run game will see different players get reps in RB CJ Barr, FB MJ Owens (5-10, 225) SR with 4.65 speed, RB Jonathan Young, FB Brody Otwell, and RB/CB Kevin Harper a SR (5-10, 180) with 4.6 speed. The passing game at WR you have WR/TE Dillon Robb, TE Clancy Graham (6-2, 195), and WR Xzavion Jackson, a SR (6-2, 180) gifted player. The Offensive Line will consist of OT Cooper Donaldson (5-10, 275), OG David Jo Neathery (5-10, 285) 2nd year starter, Center Hayden Thrasher 2nd year starter, OG Bo Harrison (6-1, 215) SR, OT Andrew Osbon, OT Aaron Carslon (6-2, 245), and OT Harper Baugh (5-9, 220) SR. The Defensive front will lead this team in DT/TE Caiden Waffer (5-10, 240) SR 2nd year starter, DT Cooper Talley SR (6-1, 270) DT Craig Tyler, DE Blake Roberson, DE Jaylon Jackson (6-1, 205), LB Luke Stephen Jones a big time player SR (6-0, 200) All District in 2023 and team captain, MLB Asher Thompson 2nd year starter, LB/DE Josiah Toston, LB Alex Rendau SR, and LB Cam Martin a SR also TE for team (5-10, 200) 2nd year starter and leader. The Defensive Backfield you have CB Kevin Harper 2 way starter, CB Gavin Yeager (5-1, 165), FS Seth Dowdy, SS Matthew Lee (6-1, 165) SR, and others competing for depth. Special Teams lead by Seth Dowdy Kicker (5-11, 180).
Wossman Wildcats
Head Coach: Terence Cahee (3rd year)
2023 Record: 9-3
2023 Playoffs: 1st Round beat Brusly HS, and 2nd Round lost to Northwest HS.

Key Players Graduating: DT Jayden Williams (North Texas), DB Jordyn Williams (ULM), RB Eric Griffin (Louisiana Christian), QB Triston Wooten (Centenary), Center DeAndre Collins (Arkansas Baptist), LB Javontai Spears, DE Broderick Walker, and OLB Cordell Payne
Team Outlook: “We will be hungry to continue to get better. Defense will lead us to start off. Return a lot of young talent on the Offensive Line. Our Defense gave up 10 points a game in 2023. In 12 total games in 2023 we gave up on Defense 9. 2 points a game. I think if we stay healthy in 2023 the Defense numbers would have been even better credit to our players and coaches,” said coach Cahee.
The Offense will have a new starting QB in Reginald Taylor though not big (5-9, 165) really athletic and has a good arm. The run game will return a young talented player in Ron QueriousHardgrove has a lot of tools to be great one day. The Offensive Line is led by 3 year starter Christian Humphrey. The Defense returns leader at Defensive Tackle Ta’Mahjaye Burrella tough (5-8, 210) SR with a huge heart and motor. More key players back are WR Travis Lynch (6-1, 185) SR 4.5 speed, DE/OLB Fred Clark (6-2, 210) 8 sacks in 2023 with 4.6 speed, DB/WR/RB Richard Wilson (5-9, 170) 4 interceptions in 2023 4.45 speed, WR/DB Antron Mason (6-0, 170) gifted player, LB Jeremiah Griffin (5-11, 190), WR/DB Prestavion Washington (5-11, 178), LB Devin Brown (5-11, 200), DT/DE Ke’Sean Hines (6-1, 255) quick, DB Zion Weeks (6-1, 185), DB Dylan Johnson (5-9, 170) 4.55 speed, OL Jacob Dunn (6-4, 230), OL Azarion Wade (6-2, 275), and DT Daniel Whitlock (6-1, 275). Special Teams Kicker & Punter for the 2nd year will be Travis Lynch also starting WR for team.
