Team Outlook: “Belaire numbers are down in 2024 for total players. We had a big graduating class in 2023. New Coach hired in late May. The team did not have a Spring pratice,” said former head coach Byron Wade.

Some younger players back that will need to step up in 2024 are WR/DB Ja’Kyron Profitt 4.45 speed, FB/LB Lamone Richard, OT Jacorian Newman, and LB/RB Ja’Corey Freeman coming off a injury in 2023 missed most of the season very talented player in the program.

Team Outlook: “We have a bunch of young leaders. Excited about the future. Small senior class. A lot of our guys play 3 sports mostly Wrestling, Track, and Baseball. We will have 40-50 players in the fall numbers are up,” said coach Sarah.

The program has some quality lineman most 2 way starters in OL/DL Willie Williams (6-1, 290), Center/DL Earl Thibodeaux (6-2, 295), OL Kameron Goings (6-5, 310), OL/DE Jorge Alvarez (6-4, 235), DE Nick Billizion (6-3, 225) best Defensive player on team, DE/LB Marquiz Jones (6-0, 190), and LB Aiden Ingram (6-0, 175).

Team Outlook: “Like what comes back to our program. We lost only 8 seniors from the 2023 team. Played a lot of kids in 2023 got experience. Future is bright,” said coach Schooler.
The Panthers will be lead on Offense by 2nd year starter Cordell Oxley (5-8, 160) shared time at QB in 2023 has a ton of experence and looks good. The rest of the skill talent on Offense you have RB Patrick Gales one of the fastest player in Louisiana, WR Darion Bennett (5-10, 160), RB Robdrick Covington lettered in 2023, WR Ty’Rin Stewart SR (6-1, 180) one of the best Athletes on the team, WR Marion Ivring (5-9, 165) 4.5 speed missed 2023 season back, and QB Reggie Riley also a Safety on Defense 4.6 speed missed a few games in 2023 also back. The Offensive Line is lead by 4 year starter Thomas Dupree (6-3, 310) SR big time leader, OL Mason Dupree (6-4, 280) 3 year starter, Center Z’Khi Provo (5-10, 255) SR, and OL Robert Woolfork (5-9, 240) SR. The Defensive front seven has a chance to be a strong unit with players like DE/DT Ricky Critney (6-1, 230) SR, DE Phillip Mason (6-4, 230) talented 3 year starter, DE Steven Westley (6-4, 250) 3 year starter, LB Brayden Ray (5-10, 195), LB Adrian Joseph (5-10, 180) SR, LB Samuel Johnson (5-10, 190) SR leading tackler in 2023, DT Melikhi Wilson and a few younger players for depth. The Defensive Backfield is strong too CB Kyren Oxley (5-8, 160), Safety/OLB Alvin Watts (6-2, 210) SR 3 year starter sleeper, Safety/OLB Evan Poole (6-2, 190), Safety Omari Morgan talented young player and DB Hunter Bickham (5-8, 155) leader tough. Special Teams Kicker will be Alfredo Jurado (5-7, 155). Long Snapper will be Brayden Ray.

Team Outlook: “We won a playoff game in 2023 big step for the program. We lost 18 seniors from a team which had 38 total. So the jury is still out. But we are getting in a full off season which will help,” said coach Edwards.
The program like coach Edwards said lost a lot of players but return again some really good Athletes in Athlete DB/RB/WR Kyrie Paul (5-10, 175) sleeper leader 2nd year starter, WR/DB Frank Alexander (6-0, 170), RB Marcus Williams (5-9, 180), Trey Davis Athlete, RB Carmelo Daigre (6-0, 200), Athlete Justin Williams (5-10, 195), RB Jacob Roberts (5-7, 180), WR Trikee Lair (5-7, 155), WR Keelan Daigre (6-1, 185) and WR Troydell Jones (6-5, 185) 2nd year starter sleeper. Team Outlook: “Lost a lot of experience from the 2023 team. Skill, QB and lineman we are rebuilding in 2024. Will be a very young team in 2024. We beat to playoffs teams in 2023 Brusly & St. Michael’s and almost beat a third playoff team in West Feliciana HS 30-28. We will return 2 starters total on Defense,” said coach Allen.
The Panthers lost one of the biggest seniors classes the program has ever had in 21 players total graduated. The team will build around new QB’s Ja’Darrius Moody and QB John Johnson both really good Athletes for the program. Both these young men will start for the program if not at QB. The Offense will return some players with some experence but theres some talent to build from in RB Chase Williams, RB/WR Tyrann Anthony both lettered in 2023 played a lot, WR Jamond Jacobs (6-2, 180) SR new starter, WR Joseph Jacobs 4.5 speed, WR Jayden Dent new, and WR Montrell Bell new player in the program. The Offensive Line also young you have OT Laquise Dunbar (6-3, 275) SR big time 2nd year starter, Center Miguel Dominiguez (6-1, 265), OL Dillon Comena (5-10, 230) new starter, OL Oscar Holmes (5-11, 235) new starter, and a few younger players competing for spots. The Defense only returns 2 starters in 2024. Key players back are Safety Braylen Thomas 2nd year starter bigger, MLB Malachi Stevenson (5-10, 180) SR 2nd year starter and the rest are younger players in OLB David Franklin (5-10, 180), DE Tyler James (6-0, 220), DT Solomon McCants (5-10, 255), OLB Zacario Parker (6-0, 195), LB Roderick Thomas (5-11, 190), LB Armond Jones (5-10, 185), CB Keivin Pruitt (5-10, 160) SR and Safety/CB Darnell Webb talented young player new to program.
Plaquemine Green Devils

Team Outlook: “We had a good year in 2023 getting to the 2nd round of the playoffs. We will be playing some playoffs programs in 2024 in our tough schedule to even prepare us even more for when we get to the playoffs. The 1st game of the season will be at Zachary HS doesnt get any better than that on the road. Our second game in 224 will be against Scotlandville HS non District,” said coach Williams.
The Offense has a chance to be one of the most explosive Offenses in the Baton Rouge area and in Class 4A in 2024. QB Nico Victorian (5-11, 165) SR returns a leader hard worker in 2023 threw for 933 yards with 12 Touchdowns, and ran for 4 Touchdowns. Victorian is one of the hardest workers in the program always trying to get better every day as a leader. The program also has a talented backup QB in Brennan Miles (6-2, 180) could play if needed gives program another QB waiting his turn. The other captain of the program and big time leader is RB Tyrese Mosby (5-10, 180) again no one is going to out work this kid on and off the field. Mosby had 1,080 yards rushing in 2023 with 16 Touchdowns. Mosby was All District in 2023 and really hard to bring down as they say he brings it as a runner. Also back on Offense is the talented WR/DB John Walker scored 2 Touchdowns in 2023, you have WR Rustin Grace new starter, WR Dajon Beloney (5-10, 160) great hands speed 4.5 in the forty, new starter WR Tyrin Henderson (6-2, 165), FB Lionel Bowers (5-9, 220) was a DE/LB in 2023 made the transition in 2024 good blocker tough strong, and you also have getting reps TE/HB Raiance Williby, RB Chris Cole (5-9, 150) SR warrior on special teams too, RB Darrell Tate (5-11, 170) SR will get carries, and young players battling for time. The Offensive Line will be one of the best in the State in Class 4A lead by OL/DT Deandre Riley (6-0, 272) SR 3 year starter tough strong, Center Luke Lewis (6-2, 265) 2nd year starter, OT/DT Reggie Trusclair (6-2, 275) 2nd year starter, OT Lamarion McNeill (6-5, 318), and OG Jacolby Young (5-11, 250) SR 3 year starter leader. The Defnsive Front will also be strong lead by DT Paul Smith (6-1, 380) SR you cant move and he can move for his size, OLB Cameron Rogers (5-10, 175) leader of the Defense would run thru a wall for you, MLB Cohen Weber (5-11, 175) leader all over field for team, DT Micah Plant (6-0, 280) new starter, OLB/DE Jairius Jones, and you will see some 2 way playing time for DT Deandre Riley, and DT/OL Reggie Trusclair. The Secondary will be lead by SS Roderick Bingham 45 tackles with 9 tackles for losses in 2023, DB John Walker, SS Derion Bosley (6-0, 170) SR 2nd year starter, CB Eric Riley (5-11, 150) , CB Travis Riley (5-11, 155), and FS/CB Daylen Jenkins (6-0, 160) 4.5 speed was hurt in 2023 and now healthy in 2024. You will also see Jacobi Collor (5-10, 170) SR OLB for team and Special Teams, and MLB Cameron Ricard (5-11, 225) will get some reps for the team.
St. Michael Warriors

Team Outlook: “It will be my first Freshman class from when I took the job 4 years ago in 2024 kids will be seniors,” said coach Leger.
The Warriors won a playoff game which is a next step for the program been a few years since they won one. The main question is the program deciding on a new QB after the Summer. These ae the QB’s competing Jackson Samson new player from Catholic HS BR, QB Brock Hamilton (5-11, 190) SR lettered in 2023 has experience, QB Eli Miller Transfer from Catholic HS BR, and Quinn Windham a young talented QB. You might see someone move to another position and start or a battle going again through the Summer. Some of these QB’s can start other spots like Jackson Square can start at Defensive End for the team. Skill players on Offense are returning starter best player on team All District/All Metro RB John Martinez (5-8, 180) a leader with power and speed ran for 1,175 yards with 16 Touchdowns in 2023, big time tough and hard to tackle, 2nd year starter WR Johnny McCarty (5-11, 170) WR Damian Willett a 2nd year starter (5-10, 155) quick in space, WR Seth Daragam lettered in 2023, WR Alex Mayeux, WR/DB Codey Doming, and RB/FB/DE Jonathan Ford competing with other young RB’s to rotate in some. The Offensive Line is very young but has some good players back OL Guy Woods (6-0, 255) SR strong leader of the line 2nd year starter, OT Douglas Kelley (6-5, 255), 2nd year starter OL Nathan Beall (5-10, 195) leader SR, OL Luke Rougeau (6-1, 180) quick feet, OL Graham Kleinpeter new starter and SR Luke Hillman (5-9, 180) OL competing to start. The Defense will be lead by DE/OLB Blaine Rodrigue (6-2, 185) SR leader and 3 year starter. Theres also FS/RB leader SR Knox Poirrier (5-10, 190) big time hitter 3 year starter, LB Grayson Boudreau (5-11, 205) SR leader, LB Grant Baldwin new starter, CB Payton Dawson new starter, DE Jackson Samson (6-0-225), DB/WR Brady Patt new starter both sides of the football will play, 3 year starter Safety/CB leader Hayden Evans (5-9, 175), DB/WR Jacob Easley, DE Jonathan Girod and DB Codey Doming. Special Teams Kicker and Punting starting will be Ben Jones lettered in 2023 with a good leg.
Tara Trojans

Team Outlook: “Lost a 1,200 yard rusher with 10 Touchdowns Jordan Bowie to graduation cant replace. We played Albany HS in the Spring game. A lot of players are new with no experience. So Spring and Summer important kids get the experience,” said coach Ware.
After talking to coach the program should return close to 40 players for the fall. The Offense returns QB Adrian Coleman (5-9, 180) SR bigger stronger in 2024. Key players back around Coleman are OT/DT Lamonte McKeever (6-5, 325), RB/MLB Eldon Spears a 3 year starter leader, RB/DB Demarion Bell (5-8, 175), Oc/DT Lenmorrow Lawrence (5-7, 245) SR, OL/DL Glen Wisham (5-11, 215), OT/DT Xavian Smith (6-3, 285) SR 2nd year starter, MLB Cameron Wilkins, DB/WR Jaheim Allen, WR Jeffrey Allen (6-2, 190) 4.6 speed, OL/DL Dionte Williams (5-11, 225) new starter, OLB/SS Chance Whitfield, and RB Ledarion Knight missed 2023 season and back in 2024.
West Feliciana Saints

Key Players Graduated: DT Ted Jackson (Louisiana Christian), QB/DB Joel Rogers (LSU), OL Jaden Moore (Central Arkansas), WR Adla Washington, RB Joe Johnson, DB Dimitris Hardy, Center Hayden Travis, WR/DB Kamron Whittaker, and RB/OLB Elstron Longs.
Team Outlook: “Continue to build our identity and culture. Focus player development and starving for greatness. Condition teams beat tired talent our motto,” said coach Ducote.
The Saints starting QB graduated and hes off to LSU but the program does have a QB returning with experience in Thomas Temple, and also competition from QB Ryan Funderburk, and QB Brooks Hebert. The run lost some experience but returns talented RB Remaj Nixon (5-5, 165) SR fast 4.5 speed, RB/DB Ean Hills (5-9, 165), and Teddy Robinson (5-11, 178) SR all really good players with some experience good group. The WR group will return Tyler Jolla (5-9, 155) 2nd year starter, WR Brayden Toney (5-11, 165) SR lettered in 2023, WR Mac Haslip (6-2, 165), and rest of position will be younger players competing. The Offensive Line has a chance to be really good with OG Ben Grantham (6-0, 280) SR lettered in 2023, OT Nolan Daniel, OL Nathan Daniel, OT Tray McDavid (6-1, 255) SR, TE/FB Drake Brown (5-11, 205) SR, TE/FB Stewart Ralph (6-1, 198) SR, and OL Jayden Lee (6-1, 280). The Defense lost a lot of experence but will return leaders DT Chris Turner (6-0, 245) SR 4 year starter, 3 year starter Bruin Gilfoil (5-11, 195) SR leader, and Safety 2nd year starter Dedrick Davis (5-11, 175). The rest of the Defense you have DE Jaden Collin, DE Jamal Scott, DE Shemar Howard (6-0, 235) SR, LB Manning Hawkins, CB Jamari Mealey, Safety TeShawn Monroe, CB Kode Sullivan, DE Andrew Schwartz lettered in 2023, DE/HB Mason Rogillio. Special Teams will be strong again lead by Punter/Kicker Trey Rogers, Long Snapper Andrew Schwartz, and Long Snapper Mason Rogillio both can handle the position.
