Key Players Graduated: OG Will Gallien, Center Cole Piot, All State OG Nolan Byers (Air Force), RB/LB Cartez Brown (Louisiana Christian), OT/OC Jason Meibaum, DT Corey Charleston, LB Thomas Tyner, and OT Jake Nolan.

Team Outlook: “Kids have a lot potential. Go through rough year been learning experience for the kids and they have grown from it. Good kids and hard working kids we have at this school,” said coach Soper.

QB Brody Smith is a very good Athlete back to lead this team in 2024. Smith is (5-9, 170) SR with 4.65 speed in the forty. The run game will count on Riley Jones (5-7, 155), and Vincent Scafini (5-9, 175). The passing game WR’s to look out for are Hayden Alonzo a 3 year starter (6-3, 180) SR leader, 2 time All District as a WR, and WR/FS Tripp Arcement (5-9, 170) SR leader also starting Safety for the team. The Offensive Line is all new starters in OL Elijah Williams (6-0, 215), OL Brad Boudreaux (6-1, 210) and Jude Monier (5-9, 200) so far have stood out in Spring. The Defense will return the ancor of the Defense in  3 year starter Luke Higgs (6-2, 240) strong kid with a 500 pound Squat and a 300 pound Bench Press. Also back DT Jared Mueller (6-1, 240) SR, MLB Reed Long (5-10, 190) SR tough, and CB Keaton Wheeler. Special Teams starter for Kicker will be Ethan Bearden (5-8, 160). Punter was open after Spring pratice.

Franklinton Demons

Head Coach: Nick Salterformaggio (2nd year) 2023 Record: 3-7

Key Players Graduated: WR Micah Hart (Arkansas Monticello), OG Kevion Ginn, OLB Christian Martin, CB Elijah Tate, RB Rayone Manuel, CB Rickken Burkhalter, OLB Timothy Partman Jr, and Kicker Santiago Morales.

Team Outlook: “Excited for the 2024 season. We have excellent players in the program. We had to play some young players. We had 6 losses by 13 total points in 2023. Think it will pay off for this year. Defense will be much better tackling be more aggressive. We are bigger and stronger on Defense in 2024,” said coach Saltaformaggio.

The Demons averaged 36 points a game in 2023 on Offense. The Offense returns 8 starters. It all starts with 2nd year starter QB Jacob Crain (6-2, 185) leader of the offense. Crain has a chance to lead this team to great heights after starting in 2023 gained a lot of experience. The Offense will be fast and strong lead by RB/WR Michael Brock (5-7, 160) SR 2nd year starter high IQ of the game of football, WR Demikis McClain good hands missed the 2023 season, WR Christian Young (6-3, 165) has a lot of ability, RB Sy Austin 4.65 speed tough, RB Ricardo Burris 4.49 speed, and several young players competing this summer. The Offense also has big time Athlete Conner Magee (5-10, 170) SR can play any position on Offense and plays some QB with 4.5 speed and big time playmaker 3 year starter. The Offensive Line has a chance to be one of the best at the school in a few years lead by OT Bo Webb (6-4, 255) SR 3 year starter, OT Wyatt Seal (6-4, 250) SR, TE/FB Dalton Freeman good hands tough, and Center Josh Wright (5-10, 260) SR 3rd year starter strong and leader. The Defense will feed off MLB Elijah Hart (5-9, 220) best Defensive player on team leader big time hitter as a SR. The rest of the Defense you have DT David Moore (6-1, 281) Bench Presses 335 & Squats 540, DT Landon Manuel (6-3, 287) Benches 330 pounds, DE Sam Braddy Benches 330 pounds, FS Avery Brumfield (6-3, 185) 4.5 speed, CB TJ Willis, CB Chykan McClain, and LB DJ Anders (5-10, 225) SR leader tough kid. Special Teams you have new starter Kicker Lawrence Ezell, and Long Snapper Bryce Hall a talented SR back.

Team Outlook: We have bunch great kids coming back. More Shot-Gun Offense in 2024. 15 seniors graduated from the 2023 team. We will have 22 seniors in 2024. The program has two QB’s capable of playing snaps in 2024 leader  Beau Bernard (5-8, 170) SR 2nd year starter threw for 918 yards in 2023 with 8 touchdowns and talented QB Brody Laudermilk. Both kids have the talent to start when not at QB another position for the team. Even though the team will go to more of a WR look Offense the run game will still be strong with players like RB/FB/LB Oudrey Grows ran for close to 900 yards in 2023, RB Kato Pichon Jr 4.59 speed (5-9, 165), and RB Dylan Cushachs also a Safety returns lettered in 2023 4.6 speed. The passing game look for the number one target to be WR Kyle Gegenheimer (6-0, 165) and younger players competing for the other spots over the Summer. The Offensive Line young but talented will build around OT Beauxdy Willie (6-0, 335) SR mauler of a blocker, TE/FB Tyson Wall (6-2, 215) 3 year starter really good hands, OG Reece Jones (6-1, 215) SR, and OT Andy Martinez (5-10, 245). The Defense will be lead by LB Micah Nebeker (5-11, 185) SR 2nd year starter, and 2nd year starter SS/FS Cade Stevens (5-10, 165). The rest of the young Defense you have DT Brodie Welsh (5-9, 225) SR strong, DT Spencer Rogers (6-0, 260) SR, LB Mason Prinzo (5-10, 180) 4.5 speed lettered in 2023, and CB Jaylen Clayton (5-9, 165) SR 4.59 speed in the forty and lettered in 2023. Special Teams starting at Kicker will be Aidan Sheldon a 3 year starter and a SR in 2024.

Head Coach: Sam Messina (23rd year)

Key Players Graduated: RB/SS Ricky James, DB/WR Tucker Chapman, OC/DT Blayne Bankston, OL/DE Jaylon Ard, LB Jordan Mendoza, LB Mikah Benton (John Melvin), DB Tycorian Bryant, and DB Zycorian Bryant.

Team Outlook: “We have to replace a really good senior class from the 2023 season. I feel good about our veteran QB  but some  spots we will be very young,” said coach Messina.

The key to a great season for Loranger HS Football is keep QB Colton Morris jersey clean because hes the guy in his 4th year as the starting QB for the program in 2023 passed for 1,067 yards, ran for 1,243 yards with 24 total touchdowns. Morris is a gritty tough leader old school and gives it his all every play. Colton Morris is (6-1, 205) and a SR in 2024 with 4.65 speed. The rest of the team you have coming back to help your QB are RB/WR Landon Chavers (5-10, 170) also a Athlete with 4.55 speed and good hands back as a SR, RB Rylan James close to 20 touchdowns and over 1,500 yards in 2023 and also starting OLB for the team. You also have FB/LB Tajh Hills (5-8, 190) 4.65 speed, MLB Roman James, FB/LB Braedyn Stevens good blocker tough, OT/DE Jayden Alexander (6-2, 245) a 3 year starter with great skills, FS/WR Hayes Holton, CB Clifton Bonds a 3 year starter, and OL Bryce Trigueroa SR leader. Special Teams the program returns Punter Landon Chavers a great Athlete for the program.

Pearl River Rebels

Head Coach: Eric Collins (2nd year) 

2023 Record: 6-5

Key Players Graduated: QB Trey Turnage, DT John McQueen.

Team Outlook: “We played 9 regular season games in 2023. Very excited we return just about everyone in the starting lineup. We will have a full senior class of 20 players in 2024,” said coach Collins. 

The Offense will go through QB Brayden Hutchinson who knows the system and has a really good arm. The Offensive Line has some potential with players like Center Gavin Ruble (6-0, 245) SR 3 year starter and also a All District Wrestler for the school, OG Judd Ohler 2nd year starter (6-0, 300), OT Hayden Mitchell (6-0, 300), and FB/TE Neil Andrew (6-1, 205) Sr tough kid and good blocker. Skill players being counted on to make plas are WR Nolan Singeltary (5-11, 170) SR 3 year starter leader, WR Savolia Callahan big time speed, and a few players younger players competing to be the RB for the Offense in 2024. The Defense will return a few players with experence in DE Peyton Penton (5-11, 210), DT Israel Pochin (5-10, 255) SR, DT Dakota Johnson a 2nd year starter leader, LB Matt Palmer (5-11, 195) SR 2nd year starter coming off a injury back in 2024, SS/OLB Javonte Rodgers (5-11, 170) SR 2nd year starter leader, CB Morse Eli (5-9, 170) SR and OLB Phillip Booth (5-4, 155) SR leader with 4.6 speed plays bigger than his frame.
