2023 Record: 10-2. Won District

2023 Playoffs: 1st Round beat Ponchatoula HS, and 2nd Round lost to Dutchtown HS

2024 Playoffs: Non-Select

Key players Graduated: WR Rayone Russell Jr, QB Ethan Couvillion, Kicker Jaden Alphonso, DT Clarence Major, Athlete Jahari Banks, OT Keyon Wilson, OL Brendon Herbert, LB Stone Riviere, LB Ricky Smith, and DE Derrick Bennett

Team Outlook: “A lot players starters have graduated from the 2023 team all 5 starting Offensive Lineman and 10 starters on Defense have graduated including the QB. We need to find our starting QB this Summer among 5 players competing. We will be a talented young team making progress every week quote’s from the Offensive Coordinater and Defense Coordinater’s from the staff.”

The Offense has the ability talent to become really good in time but 5 players battle to win the starting QB job in Louie Schneider started Spring game and 4 others competing QB Connor Dewey, QB Breez Wilson, QB Kyler Tipton, and QB Jayden Hartwick. Wilson, Tipton, and Hartwick if they dont win the QB job can play other skill spots. The run game will lean on Axton Lopez experience in 2023 638 yards rushing with 6 Touchdowns, RB Jordan Branch, RB Marion White, and FB/RB Brandon Booker, and possibly Breez Wilson. The Passing game will return starter Jaden Williams, 34 catches & 5 Touchdowns in 2023, who has special talents in the open field SR, WR John Young, WR Tanner Vincent, and WR Dana Antione to make up a potentially a strong group. The Offensive Line is young all new starters OT Semaj Tapp lettered in 2023, OT David Hawkins lettered, and the rest of the line is still open will be answered this Summer. You also have 2 really good Tight Ends back for blocking and in the pass game TE Eric Anderson, and TE Jackson Nunez. The Defense will have 10 new starters. Leading the young Defense will be 2 way starter DE Eric Anderson (6-4, 230), DE Tim Taylor new starter, OLB/SS Leo Gonzales 50 tackles in 2023, CB Raymond Williams new starter, CB Lee Everidge new starter, FS Travis Borden (6-2, 178) SR new starter and SS/WR Roeshawn Addison (5-11, 170) SR new starter with a lot of upside. The rest of the spots will be won this Summer and early fall. Special Teams the Punting will be John Young, Long Snapper Louie Schneider, and Kicker is not named as of me writing this post Spring. 

Fontainbleau Bulldogs

Key players Graduated: WR/TE Jacob Schliem, QB Ian Burelson, TE/LB Trent Gagnon, OL Fletcher Van Haelen, Center Jake Cartagines, RB Jaden Echols, DT Dylan Rucker, FB/WR Jesse Mull, OG Blake Gisevius

Team Outlook: “Our QB got hurt med way through the season in 2023 and it was a tough year. I am excited about our Offense in 2024. Good Group, Players have bought in. Goal is playoffs and can be competitive in a new District. We also lost 5 Offensive Lineman to graduation,” said coach Kavanaugh. 

The Offense has some really good players back in QB Drake Dichara (6-1, 180) SR, big leader for the team with experience now, RB Brennon OBey (5-9, 185) SR TR from Hannan HS ran for over 1, 500 yards in 2023, RB Jackson Anglin, WR Conner Tyson 4.6 speed, WR Mason Cryer, and TE/FB/DE Gabe Solomon (6-0, 218). The Offensive Line lost a lot of experience but will build around OG Henry May, OT/DT Kenney Primus, OT/DT Cody Liebfritz, and others will battle for spots Summer/Fall. The Defensive will build around there Linebackers and Secondary in LB Dominick Silvan Owens (5-11, 180) SR, LB Brant Boada (5-11, 195) SR, CB Semaj Whittine, SS/CB Garrett Moore (5-10, 175) SR, SS Isiah Adams (5-11, 170) SR 4.5 speed, and CB Cohen Anderson (5-8, 165) SR 4.65 speed. The Defensive Line will have DE Travis Green, DT/DE Will Ribaul (6-2, 230) and several players will rotate in new and some of the Offensive Line will double on DL. Special Teams the program has 2 really good Kickers in Micah Nagy, and Kicker Liam Sheldon both can help the team. 

Northshore Panthers

2023 Record: 6-6

2023 Playoffs: 1st Round beat West Monroe HS, and 2nd Round lost to Walker HS. 

2024 Playoffs: Non-Select

Key players Graduated: DE Shaun Collins, RB Brice Cherry, SS Ricky Mistretta, FS Jordan Fugate, CB/WR Kyle Williams (Arkansas State College 2023 District Defensive MVP), Athlete TJ Coleman, OG Logan Dunn, DE Grant Simmons, DE Ja’Mire Bolden, OL Louis Stokes, OL Kevin Kingston

Team Outlook: “The Panthers will be a young team in 2024 losing 24 SR’s from the 2023 season. We do have a nice Freshman class with learning cure coming up but great potential down the road to be very good. The off season this Summer will be huge for this program to get better with a young team overall,” said coach Sanders. 

The Offense will return for the 3rd year in a row QB Donovan Weibacher (5-11, 175) SR can run or throw the ball. You also have a QB in JJ Gonzales very talented and might play some competing. The skill spots around the QB will be RB Ramon Williams who has 4.59 speed 2nd year starter, WR Ethan Hanrahan (5-11, 155) SR 2nd year starter averaged 40 yards per catch in 2023, WR Derek Weilbaecher lettered in 2023, and WR Jayden Helmers really talented 4.6 speed Athlete. The Offensive Line will build around 2 players OG Jayden Lang (5-10, 240) SR, and OT Evan Orillion (6-3, 250). The Defense  key leaders to build around are MLB Rogie Magee (5-10, 190) SR 2nd year starter, DT Wyatt Sistrunk (6-3, 230) SR, DE/OLB Jo’Vaughn Richardson, LB Carson Malasovich (5-11, 205), CB Brody Dukes (5-9, 155, ) SR 3 year starter, CB Brendell Vedol, and SS/FS Scott Hall (5-10, 175) SR. Special Teams  Ethan Hanrahan will handle both Kicker & Punting duties with a strong leg.

2023 Playoffs: 1st Round beat West Ouachita HS, and 2nd Round lost to Zachary HS. 2024

Key players Graduated: QB Cameron Dorsey, RB Jacobi Jefferson (Pearl River Mississippi JC), WR/OLB Damon Narcisse District MVP Defense in 2023 (Georgetown), OL/DL Dwayne Coleman (One of the Strongest High School players in the Squat in the US), DE Tre Hartley (Leaning to Centenary), CB/WR Kaleb Rayford, FS DeMarcus Spillers, WR Jaylun Robinson and OLB/FB Ja’Kel Hogan

Team Outlook: “ We lost a lot of experience on Offense 1,900 yards just from Jacobi Jefferson. We have huge challenges replacing our big time playmakers from 2023. We also have a few playmakers on Defense to replace.” 

The Offense will have a new QB first time in 2 years. The new QB will be Markel Keyes SR, who started some games but played mostly WR in past he’s very Athletic and will lead this team. You will see a few skill players playing both sides of the football for this program players like RB/SS/OLB Desmond Beasley (5-11, 190) SR big time player, RB/CB Christian Brown 4.4 speed playmaker, RB/CB Camron Robinson, RB/LB Jimmy Chanzy All District on Defense in 2023, WR/DB Tayshawn Scott (6-0, 165) 4.45 speed, WR Alfred Smith (6-1, 190), WR/DB Kylen Fryson (5-10, 175) SR 4.5 speed, WR Grayson O’Shaughnessy (5-11, 160) SR, and WR A’san Johnson (6-4, 185) has a ton of upside for team. The Offensive Line will return 3 starters in Adrian Ballard (6-1, 340), OL Peyton Elder (5-11, 305) SR, and OL Jermain Collins (6-0, 270, ). You also have OL Gabe Lynn (6-0, 270), OT Reginald Bouie (6-1, 245) and OT Ronald Coleman (6-1, 245). The Defense will be lead by Defensive front of DT/OL Darrion White (6-0, 230) SR, DE/OLB D. J Jenkins (6-4, 210), DT Chris Newman (5-11, 225), DE/FB Izavion Morton (5-9, 218) SR, LB Michael Welch (5-9, 225), LB Wylee Jackson (6-1, 210) SR, LB Ahman Bush lettered in 2023, CB Josiah Morton (5-10, 165) SR, and just about every skill player on Offense will see minutes on Defense. Special Teams was still open after Spring at both Punter & Kicker.

Key players Graduated: RB Trevel Watts Jr (Louisiana Christian), DT Ashton Taverna, WR/CB Jordan Bloxson, OG/DT Mehki Gill, OG Xavier Ratcliff (Southwest Mississippi JC MS), DE Jalen Anderson (Pearl River Mississippi JC), FS/CB Dwayne Miles (Centenary), QB Corey Cousin, Punter/WR Tyler Oliver

Team Outlook: “Tremendous potential here. Still learning the players and program over the Spring. We will have a new starting 5 on the Offensive Line and many new Defensive Back starters,” said coach Page. 

The Offense has 3 players competing at QB for the starting job in 2024 they are QB/TE Landon McGrath (6-1, 195) SR, QB Ricky Williams 4.6 speed, and QB/LB Austin Buell mostly a DB in 2023. The skill talent on Offense still has a chance to be a fast unit in RB/OLB Torey Kitchens (5-7, 180) SR 4.55 speed, RB Jak’wan Jones a lot of upside, RB Mikhial McDonald (5-8, 170) SR talented player, and a few new faces did good in Spring still competing at WR. The Offensive Line will be all new starters lead by OL Tristan Jordan, OL Evan Kozma and OL Andre Brown. The Defense will be lead by talented DE/TE Jeremiah Birdlow, CB/WR Ramelo Howard 4.4 speed 3 year starter, LB Tyler Roberts, DT Isaiyah Gallen (6-0, 265) SR, DE Kenneth Faciane (5-10, 200) SR, CB Carlos Flemings, and CB Javion Evans. There will be more players winning spots after Summer for this young Defense. Special Teams Kicker and LB Austin Buell returns with a very good leg.
