By Christina Bukowski
School: Terrebonne High School
Position: DE/LB
Height: 5'9
Weight: 235
Z'yon had an impressive last season, his first time playing linebacker, and he excelled at the new position. He racked up 50 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 6 sacks, an interception, and a fumble recovery, which earned him 2nd Team All-District honors. This season, he’s continued to make an impact with 23 tackles, 1 sack, 1 interception, and even a defensive touchdown—all within just four games. “I love the defensive side the most because I get to do what I love to do, and that is tackle,” he says, embracing the physicality and versatility the role demands.
Z'yon values the guidance of his coaches, saying, “They always tell me what I need to know.” He also appreciates the flexibility of his position, explaining, “I really can play any position, but I love defense.” While he hasn’t been recruited yet, he’s optimistic and feels his time will come soon.
Beyond the field, Z'yon found an unexpected passion—bowling. He joined his school’s bowling team in his sophomore year, looking to try something new, and quickly grew to love it. Now, it’s one of his favorite pastimes.
His favorite college is Oregon, largely due to their standout football uniforms, and he admires the Baltimore Ravens and Dallas Mavericks at the pro level. In college, Z'yon hopes to major in music engineering, blending his love for sports with another creative field. Football is a family tradition—his dad played for South Terrebonne, and his uncles played for Terrebonne High, the same school where Z'yon continues to make his mark.
