Jackson Casanova had an impressive season last year, recording 80 tackles, 2 interceptions, and 8 sacks, helping his team reach the quarterfinals. His performance on the field reflects his love for playing linebacker, a position he has fully embraced.

Jackson credits his success to his coaches, stating, “My coaches are great. They help me a lot and push me to be better.” Their guidance has played a key role in his development as an athlete.

His hard work hasn’t gone unnoticed, as Jackson has already been in talks with UL, Nicholls, and Northwestern State about potential recruitment. Outside of football, Jackson enjoys hunting, and when it comes to college preferences, he’s open to all options. His favorite professional team is the New Orleans Saints, a fitting choice for a player with deep football roots.

Football runs in the family, as Jackson's father played at McNeese, while both his grandfather and uncle suited up for LSU. While he’s still undecided on his major, Jackson’s commitment to his sport and family legacy ensures that his future is bright, both on the field and in the classroom.
