School: Denham Springs High School
Class of 2025
Position: OT
Height: 6'4
Weight: 285
Cy's season was cut short last year after only five games due to a hand injury that required surgery, but he’s ready to come back stronger. Despite missing time, his passion for the game hasn't wavered.
Cy speaks highly of his coaches, saying, “I love Coach Beard and Coach White. They are the best coaches I have ever had.” He also enjoys his current position on the field, feeling it’s a great fit for him.
Although Cy hasn’t been recruited by any colleges yet, he’s keeping his options open. Outside of football, he enjoys golfing in his free time.
When it comes to college, Cy has two favorites. He loves Oklahoma State, where he visited due to a family friend connection and fell in love with the campus. LSU also holds a special place in his heart, being the hometown team and a lifelong favorite.
While he doesn’t have a specific favorite pro team, Cy enjoys watching football whenever he can. He’s considering a major in either chemical or electrical engineering, though he’s not completely set on his decision just yet.
Football runs in Cy’s family, as his grandpa, dad, and uncle all played for Denham Springs, making him a third-generation player at the school.
