by Jace LeJeune

For Friday’s episode of the Sports Scouting Report Podcast, Lee Brecheen goes across state lines in Texas to talk to Pleasant Grove High School head football coach Josh Gibson on leading the Hawks to two Texas Class 4A State Championships in three seasons, having an All DI defensive line with Oklahoma DE/DT commit Marcus Burris, LSU DE commit Landon Jackson, and DE Torey Phillips, who has received some DI offers himself. Coach Gibson talks about the program, playing Louisiana schools, and the reason why Jackson chose to commit to LSU this early in the process. In speaking of big time recruits, Lee also chats with Walker High School star WR recruit Brian Thomas Jr. on being one of the best in the country at his position, his relationship with fellow star receiver Chris Hilton at Zachary High School, thoughts on former teammate Jalen Cook playing basketball at LSU, his own future in basketball, what he likes most about LSU as well as Alabama, and so much more!
