For Friday's episode of the Sports Scouting Report Podcast, Lee interviews one of the top sleeper quarterbacks in the state of Louisiana in Parker Seilhan from Notre Dame High School in Crowley, LA. Parker talks about when he took over for injured senior Ben Broussard in some games this season, his first full season to start in 2020, playing for legendary coach Lewis Cook, goals for this season, quarterbacks he likes to watch, and much more! Lee also got the chance to talk with one of the best recruits in the country in St. Augustine High School DE Byron Turner, who has received over 40 scholarship offers. This interview took place before he committed to Florida State yesterday. Byron talks about this upcoming season, the great players that have come through the program, the recruiting process, playing in the Catholic league, and even fishing.

Jace is from Addis, LA but resides in Port Allen, LA. Jace attends Southeastern Louisiana University and is majoring in Communications. This is Jace’s fourth year as Associate Editor at Louisiana Football Magazine. He is also a graduate from Catholic High School in baton-rouge where he was the editor of the school newspaper the “Bearly Published.” While at CHS, Jace also announced their football, basketball, and baseball games for the Bruin Broadcast Network which is the Catholic High’s streaming website for their events. On weekends, Jace is the PA announcer for his middle school football games. At home, Jace enjoys time with his family and friends. Besides being a huge football fan, Jace is also an avid NHRA drag racing fan.
