Class of 2022: Bossier High School WR Marquis Harris

The Bossier High School Bearcats had a much-improved season this year going 6-5 with a playoff appearance this year after going 2-4 in 2020. They are led by senior wide receiver Marquis Harris, who had 24 receptions for 410 yards and 10 touchdowns.

The 6’5, 207 pound receiver does a lot of good things on the field “my hands are plus and my speed and size for the fades and slants”. As far as what he wants to improve on, he said, “just get a little sharper on my routes”. He models his game after former Atlanta Falcon and current Tennessee Titan wide receiver Julio Jones. What he is looking for in a is, “getting my degrees and playing sports”. He was an important part to their success this year.

He is cousins with former LSU and North Carolina quarterback Brandon Harris, who is currently an assistant at Texas. He is also a member of the Bossier Basketball Team where he is the starting center and also on the soccer team.
