Class of 2022 Recruit Spotlight: Archbishop Shaw High School Safety Mike Newton Jr.

Mike Newton Jr. is a 5’10 safety for Archbishop Shaw High School with a 3.0 GPA and great stats. This safety really flies around the field and makes his presence known with his big hits. His hits make receivers think twice about catching the ball in his zone and forces them to keep their heads on a swivel. Maxing out at 375 pounds squatting shows his leg strength along with his 4.5/40-yard dash. Numbers like these enable Mike to make big plays on big time moments. Mike has great football instincts and puts it all out on the line when he plays.
