Class of 2022 Recruit Spotlight: Edna Karr High School Defensive Lineman Kells Bush

Kells Bush is a 6’3, 285 pound defensive lineman from Edna Karr High School. Bush is very good on his feet, which allows him to make big plays. Kells explained that the biggest challenge this season for him and his team was dealing with the hurricane. Edna Karr was set to play American Heritage on Week 1 which would have been broadcasted on ESPN. This would have been a great opportunity for the players to showcase their skills and get more exposure. Unfortunately, due to the hurricane, they were unable to get that opportunity. Kells as well as other players on the team had to step up as leaders to ensure one setback didn’t derail the team’s morale. Kells will continue his journey at LSU where he plans to major in business management. When speaking about , Kells said he is mostly looking forward to earning the trust of his new coaches and making a name for himself at the next level.
