Colten Sharp has finished his junior year of high school football with the Jena Giants in great form. The Giants performed incredibly well this past season, going undefeated in the regular season and finishing in the semi-finals of the Division III (Non-Select) playoffs.

"We had a great year," said Sharp, "We went the deepest we've ever been in playoffs and I had my best year in football."

Sharp is looking to continue to improve himself and get ready for the next season. Sharp states " (My goal is) to get better as a player and as a teammate."

Sharp isn't looking to stop playing football at the high school level. He hopes to be able to continue playing the sport that he loves at the next level. He currently plans on attending either Northwestern University, Harding University, or Millsaps College. He plans on majoring in engineering.

"(I am) looking forward to a great season with my teammates and coaches," said Sharp
