"Last football season was great." said Henderson "We fell short in the semi-finals, I just wish we could have made it to state, but we did prove a lot of people wrong because of their thoughts that we were not going to be that good since our star QB and WR had graduated."

Henderson doesn't intend to stop playing football after high school. He has received numerous offers including ones from Grambling State, Kilgore College, Bulter College, Centenary College, John Melvin University, Itawamba College, Southwestern Oklahoma, and Arkansas Monticello. He plans on attending Kilgore College where he will major in physical therapy.

"My senior year playing for Logansport was everything I always wanted my last year to be." said Henderson " The game atmosphere and the coaches were amazing. Logansport fans are the best in 1-A football."

Henderson's football career was almost cut short in 6th grade when he was badly injured in an ATV accident. "I had a total of 12 surgeries and I was told that I would never be able to play sports again." said Henderson "Thanks to God, I was able to start again in my freshmen year."

"I play this game to show kids that anything is possible with God on your side and don't let someone tell you what you can't do," said Henderson
